Here's my latest missive from the ship:

We were able to road-test Spellbound last night in its basic form. It will open for reservations on March 19 and debut on April 8. Overall, a really fascinating experience.

Does Spellbound include a meal? Maybe I missed seeing that mentioned.

I'll look into the costs for Park19. To add here for all, Princess has communicated expected opening dates for various venues. They are:

  • Dome shows will begin on March 19, 2024

  • Arena shows will begin rolling out on March 29

  • Park19 is open, minus the ropes course, which will be completed March 29, and RollGlider, which will be done on April 27.

  • Spellbound is being tested on this voyage; it should be operational by March 19, 2024.

I'd really be surprised if it was included at no extra charge.

It does! It will be a special dinner that will take place in a private area at the back of the Americana Diner on Deck 8. It will have its own unique menu.

I'm in my 60s and I would love to try it!!!! Doesn't seem scary at all.

Here's an example of one in Tennessee. Obviously won't look the same on the cruise ship but it gives you a general sense of how it works.

Some features likely will be; things like the Roll Glider will probably incur a charge.

From what I understand it's included in your base fare on RCL.
