Why was the line soooooo long?

Our stay on Jamaica was in a condensed time.  Today should have been Labadee.
Many excursions came back at the same time.
Only 2 security screeners to get thru.
Machines were sensitive.
Almost everyone was hand wanded.

And the concrete made the wait HOT!!!!!!

Kenny Rogers (sp) said it best.

“ you gotta know when to hold em …….know when to fold em……”

Oh I would have had more had I walked away sooner.

But. It is good.

Don't forget to factor in the freeplay you had with this current sailing and will you get freeplay with your new certificate?

That should definitely help with your bottom line.

You Rock!!!

What is the rule with the towels?  I thought you weren't allowed to just throw a towel on a lounger to reserve it.  I thought you had to be in the vicinity.  How do they manage this?

Please and thank you.

That varies. Sometimes they enforce it, most of the time they don’t.

There is a pool attendant. But it seems he does little to enforce the towel rule.

Today it will be packed. Last sea day.
Disembarking tomorrow.

Now I was surprised to read this.

If your in a suite, you just fill out a form and they take care of your paperwork.

I do not remember seeing this notice for non suite guest.  Or else I just didn’t bother reading it.

Anyway. You do your own work and pay to do it.

The only surprise is the inflation of the price of that package - pre COVID it was around $10.

Biker, who wonders how many know about the 15-minute free Voom trick to accomplish the same thing.

I remember when RCI used to have kiosks where you could do your airline checkin and print boarding passes for FREE. Then they got rid of those and you could use guest computers to log into airline site to checkin and print boarding passes, again, for FREE.

RCI never has much liked that dirty four letter word.

I’m with you.  I need to dig deeper into the casino world.  Free cruises 🤩

The majority of people getting free cruises from the casino are just paying for cruises ahead of time.

Yes.
I agree

I never insinuated I got it totally for free.

To attain a free GS. Cruise you need 25,000 credits.
Yup

I have 25,000

How long did it take?
6 evenings.
How much of my money from home????

Let’s just say. It was not totally free and cheap.
Had I not won 3 jackpots, then I would be boo hooing.
But

Fortunately we are better than breaking even.

Be safe.

You and I are alike in some ways . If something interests us we’re all in . Back in the day when my husband was working and pre-pandemic when shuttles were plentiful to some of the 8 casinos near my home , I thought , I would figure out how to beat the odds . I bought books , subscribed to Strictly Slots magazine and watched this guy Curtis on TV.  Sadly, it didn’t work .  I no longer put cash in the one arm bandit .

Unless you’re like me with extremely bad luck…in my case it’s a lot cheaper to just pay for my room and stay out of the casino. Lioness’ method is obviously not for everyone.

I know there are people out there who are lucky (not me) who probably make money overall factoring in free cruise offers. But the casino program would not exist if the majority of players weren’t losing money.

Yes we are. When I was younger I loved going to Vegas. I was interested in Craps so I went and bought every book I could about playing, and strategies, I ended up doing ok but I was never lucky. As I got older saving money was more important to me than spending money. I have played a few times on a cruise ship but have never won. I guess I’m just unlucky.

Best said.
True statement.

When I talk to people they seem to share stories about their winnings. Very few about their loss.
If you recall. I did.
Had I quit earlier I would have been much more ahead.

But this thread shared most of my money trail bit more importantly some cruise updates.
I had fun.
It is not hard to do.

Oh. I know everyone has followed my close family ties.
So with the comped money I was able to get my daughter a gift she wanted but family funds said it would never happen.
So I called her 😳 and we face timed and she picked out a pair of Fendi glasses.

It will make her happy.

With the rest——- gifts.

More to come.
