I have only eaten dinner in the MDR one night and took pictures of the menu when I was there but I did not take screenshots of the MDR menus for the other nights, I I am afraid I can't help you. Maybe try to catch someone who is sailing in the next week or two and ask them in advance?

I mean the screenshots of the MDR menus on the app, not photos of the paper menu in MDR itself. Do you still see them in the app for the past few days?

I've just read that the menus only appear on the app for the current day, so that may hinder taking screenshots later.

Thank you! That's ok, enjoy your time onboard! It goes by so quickly!

Wow,  what a day!!!!

It is concerning to hear how bad the service in the Buffet and the MDR have been!!!!

It seemed like I was hearing good reviews of Enchanted...  but this sounds pretty bad.

It will be quite some time before we sail...  So, one can only hope that things go well when they are onboard!

We never had the mob experience at the buffet in all our Enchanted trips but you have to time it around the "typical" eating times. Show up after 8 AM for breakfast and you'll hit the big crowd on a port day. Same thing for lunch, get there at 1 to 1:30 PM and everyone returning from tours is ahead of you.

It just takes a little planning.

MDR service has been fine. I don't really know what "buffet service" would be other than them offering/bringing drinks, which had definitely not been a thing in our experience so far.

Ohhh,  the MDR has been good...  I see that it is The Catch that was mentioned...  Hope they get it together!

Has the tea party already taken place.  Asking for my 7 year old granddaughter, for whom it will be the highlight of our cruise.  If I’m not mistaken, it is on the final sea day.  Isn’t that today?

Tea Time was from 3:00-3:45 in the Amalfi Dininf room today.

I am used to the buffet being slammed for breakfast on port days and very empty for lunch in port days on all my previous cruises. Lunch on a sea day is a usually a lost cause.

Our experience is they have made the buffet area almost exclusively self service.  There are rarely employees to help with anything  in the table areas.

Side comment from me.  I wish princess would ban Bluetooth speakers.  People bring them and blare music and then they yell at the people they are with to talk.  Very disruptive, particularly in the retreat area.

I am fine with that but didn't find any self-service water stations until yesterday. I am guessing there is only one on each side? Would be nice if there were more if you can't count on table service for water.

I would love that.  Someone had one in the Sanctuary in December on the Sky and the seats right outside of the Sanctuary a few weeks ago had someone that brought it so then we had to listen to their meeting.

They were having an off night because we ate there twice two weeks ago and didn't have any issues.  Glad the OP was able to have the charges reversed.

One of the poor designs by Princess, that they never fix, is only having one drink station on each side of the buffet.   Creates a huge bottleneck, plus the ice machines are always empty and they bring out containers of ice that people use all manner of ways to get ice.  I bring ice with me from the bar when the ice machine isn't working.

They should have at least 2 on each side.

One thing I liked better on Celebrity was multiple drink stations all over the pool decks.

It's getting worse.  Multiple times this week and if you look their way, they get offended.  Princess needs to address it.  Ear buds should be the only way to listen to music or talk on your phone.

I just got a drink from Crooner's and saw this "Dunes" drink people were recommending. 1000% not my thing. It has coconut, pineapple, AND banana. I HATE all three of those flavors with a fiery passion. Melon, lemon, and lime sound good though.

Same here!  We were there last week and the service at the Catch was as expected.  It's not a place you go to dine quickly and we had to wait maybe a half hour after our appetizers for our main course.  But we were enjoying good conversation (and wine) with our friends so it was a very normal, pleasant, and delicious experience.

We didn't go to the buffet much but we were able to get ice tea and water from the buffet stewards.  Our only exception was the very last morning when we were there around 5:15 AM and had to get our own coffee as they were setting up.  Completely understandable and we used one of the coffee stands our by the Wakeview bar to fill up.

As for the MDR, we were on the Reserve Collection side and service was exceptional.

ugh, it didn't have banana or coconut in it last time.

There was a little pineapple in it (which I also don't like but there was very little of it), so it was more like a Midori Sour which I love. The Midori Sour I ordered at the Wakeview bar was simply awful and not anywhere close to what it was supposed to be. After searching the menu I found the closest to it drink being Dunes. It was rather heavenly, and I have been looking forward to having it for almost 2 years now. But if they added coconut and banana to it - then no, thanks.

Half an hour between appetizers and mains is reasonable. 70 minutes is not.

Princess definitely needs to address it. It doesn’t bother me to ask someone to use earbuds but I shouldn’t have to. It is beyond rude to expect others to listen to your music choices.

How is leftover refundable OBC handled? My husband still had $55 on his account. Does he need to go to guest services or run it through the casino?

Over $25 refundable onboard credit will be repaid by cheque mailed to him in a few weeks.

I depends on the country you live in.

In Europe for example, everything under 100 USD balance goes automatically back on the credit card.

Over 100 USD, it is handled externally by Princess and can take some months.

Faster to run it through the casino. Otherwise it’s a long wait for the check.

Its's some kind of funny. A "cheque"? Serious? Is it still used in the U.S.?
Cheques ended in Europe in 2002.

No, but “checks” are occasionally used in the US.  Especially if one is interested in slowing down the payment process.
