At $79 plus 18% tip, don’t think I would dine there at $93.22. Although a bigger factor is that I have no plans to sail of Sun/Star Princess. ☺️

When we booked in advance, my credit card was charged $79 without the extra 18% tacked on. Does anyone know if at the end of the meal we will be presented with a bill for $14.22 per person?

Would the premier package cover the 18%?

In April when prepaying for Sabatini’s after dining there our folio added an 18% “Cover Charge”.

Did you have a package?  I suppose it is possible that while Britto cannot be booked as an included Specialty Dining option under the Premier Package, the gratuity could be covered as part of the pre-paid gratuity portion of the package.

Considering it's actually been open since May 18th sailing, this is just a tad bit late "news"  from Princess... 🙄

The only real news, which again has been on the menu and shred sinceate may, is that it's actually $79 instead of the original $149...

The only gratuities that are pre-paid are the daily and the beverage package/specialty/casual dining, not the experiential/etc. 🙂

Thanks. It’s odd then that they don’t add in the 18% at the time of purchase. In a system of cashless cruising, I don’t really want a bill presented to me at the end of any meal.

We won't be trying it since they have NO options for food allergies nor preferences.  Having a single set meal option may work in large cities where there are many possible diners willing to pay a high price for the experience, I don't think it will be as popular on a cruise ship.  I predict for many it will be one and done if at all.
