NeepierRoad Posted August 13 #1 Share Posted August 13 Is the main dining room open for lunch on embarkation day? I read/saw somewhere that the MDR is a great alternative to Windjammer (or ship's buffet (I can't remember where I saw this suggestion or remember if it was just a general tidbit of cruising information or specific to RC)). I'll be cruising in February 2025 on Grandeur (and not purchasing The Key). Thanks all!

That's our go to embarkment day lunch. Grab some pizza and watch everyone as they walk into the promenade for the first time.

Click "Browse our ships" Select the ship you want and then the current sailing.

True for the general public, but they do a fixed menu lunch for people who purchase the Key. On our last three cruises on Adventure in July, there were only a handful of Pinnacles doing B2B, so we were invited to join the Key lunch on TAD. IMHO, not worth the cost of admission. doghog Posted August 14 #14 Share Posted August 14 The MDR is open to those doing a B2B cruise on TAD. No matter their tier level.

Hope so, as I have a B-B on Utopia and there seems to be some inconstancies to the policy.

All our B2B cruises (no matter the ship or itinerary) we have always had the TAD lunch in the MDR. But we all know what RCI stands for. Royal Consistently Inconsistent. 😉
