Bar Service @ Coco Cay

We have only ever done the Beach Club when at Coco Cay.  However, we're sailing with friends and the cost is outrageous to them.

So we're looking at getting some daybeds at Chill Island or Breezy Bay.   Is there bar service here?  Could I get bar service tip them well and have them keep coming back to check on us?  Or must we go to the bar ourselves?

Having bar service wherever we are I think it important.

Looks like the cabanas come with bar service, but there are 9 of us, and getting 3 day beds might be more comfy than 2 cabanas.

Thoughts?

Don't shame/press friends into a purchase - get off the ship early and settle into an area with regular loungers near a bar.

We're not shaming anyone.  We totally understand their thoughts.   Beach Club is running twice what we normally pay.  We shared that fact with them.   So we're looking at other options.   We're not the "get up early" types, and would prefer our reserved spots.

Head to Chill island or Southbeach, both have bars where you should find some loungers.  Finding for a group of 9 maybe a challenge so may be worth getting up early.

But is there bar service?  that's the big question.  We want to lay in our daybed, and be able to enjoy drinks without getting up to go get them.

Having to walk to the bar to get a drink. How cruel is Royal?

If you aren’t in a cabana or at the beach club, I do not recall beach bar service at cococay.  However, so many bars all over the island.  Would be hard not to be pretty near one.  Budget, eating in special restaurants, shore excursions can be an issue when traveling with others.  If you have different ideas and budgets, perhaps you should all do different things

There is not dedicated bar service.   Just like any lounger you May find a server that will return if you tip cash.

This will also depend on how crowded the island is on any given day.

Ignore the snark!  It is a valid question.  We rented a day bed on chill island when we were at Coco Cay last month.  Bar attendants came by several times.  IIRC, the attendant asked when we arrived what we might need.  Suggest you tell the attendant that you would like bar service throughout the day.  That should work well.

Agree with this, we have rented Day beds at both Breezy Bay and Chill Island. While there is no dedicated bar service, we tip cash every time and the waiters take care of us quite well.
No food delivery, but there is a Snack Shack near both locations, which we prefer over the buffets.
We have also rented an over water cabana, one time, and understand your concern, it will be difficult to go back to a regular day bed. lol
