Get an on-demand-water-heater. I just got one and it's changed my life. Endless hot water for as long as you want. I was told it would take longer for the water to get hot, but once it did, the hot water would never run out. But I get hot water instantly, and it's as hot as you can stand it, and it never cools down, even if you leave the water on all weekend.

I got the Navien NPE 240A2. 199,000 BTU's. Love it.

I’ve seen those. I would love to have one.

And the gate area is very small. Not enough seats.

We found the food offerings rather poor as well.

Although it was not about the terminal as much as the boarding process and service but my DW says she will never fly Southwest again after our experience at Long Beach airport.

Sorry that happened to you but we have never had a bad experience with Southwest. I don’t like the open seating but they are going to change that. It’s been all good for us and SW.

TBH I’m not sure. It was always someone else at the bar that ordered them. They come in shots of 8 I believe and I imagine the drink package covers it. I never saw any sea pass cards being taken or slips to sign.

Back when Raj was running the Bamboo Room he just did them for whatever group was sitting there. I partook without ever burning a diamond voucher.  I don't know if it go chalked up to someone else's DBP I never asked and no one ever said.  I'm glad to hear Thulio is carrying on the tradition. It's a neat trick.

I had one of those with Southwest too, Christmas 2022, when their whole system melted down.  I sat in the Oakland airport, then on a plane at a gate that didn't move, then on a tarmac after we pulled away from the gate for total 14 hours.

I said never again but then they had so much better itineraries flying out of Fresno and Ontario that I couldn't resist.  It's been all fine the last few times with the exception of the last one where a really really big dude ended up in the middle seat beside me wanting to talk politics.

Uncomfortable, in more ways than one.

Greg and Linda, glad you made it home safely. Those adorable pups 🐶 🐶 of yours looked to me like they missed both of you quite a bit and are glad to see you both home.

Thank you again for another great review. I’ll be waiting patiently for February and the chance to follow everyone on the Bella cruises. You might even find us waving at you during one of your sailaways from the pier at Jetty Park!

How’s your new cabin? Miss you already.

So far it’s OK.  Smaller cabinet and drawer space, but doable.  I’ll let you know more after aerobics in the morning.🙀

Bamboo Room was not the same without you.  Tell Linda, I somehow found the ‘Wobbely’ chair again . 🙀😹

Happy you are home and it is obvious the  ‘kids’ are happy you are there.  Miss you guys too!  Be well,

No Apologies necessary!!  It’s your cruise we’re just living vicariously through it. 😁  Appreciate all the time and effort I know it takes to do a “Live”.

That pizza could be cardboard with cheese and spam slices on it and I’d be eating it like no tomorrow at midnight after Schooner Bar shenanigans!!!

It is amazing the affect that the Schooner Bar had on Sorrento's.

Exactly what I expected upon your return.

Has the cat acknowledged your return yet?😉

As usual we did not see Kylar the cat for at least an hour after we got home. Jerk.

Yes I meant to report yesterday. The pills combined with some pillows under my feet raising them above my heart for an hour or two at night made all the difference in the world.

A little swollen tonight after 3 hour airline flight, but the verdict is in…..SUCESS!!

Your ankles are a tad “ swolen”. (😉)

Glad you are home safely.

And I am sure the “woofers” are happy too.

Thanks for catching that. My bad. You are right I did not get off scott free from swollen ankles but trust me when I say this, this time was so much better than all my previous cruises. I am still going to have to be vigilant in keeping my feet elevated and taking the pills. At least now I know I can get some relief.

One thing I do hate about Southwest Airlines is that you can’t check your bags any earlier than 4 hours before your flight.

That actually saved us from possibly missing a cruise.  last March Vikki and I had flights from Pittsburg to Miami and we arrived about 4 hours early.  half an hour later nearly every flight started getting cancelled or delayed by 6 hours due to a huge weather disturbance in Florida.  We decided that we could drive and still make it with lots of time to space so we did.  Had we checked our luggage we would not have had that option.  There were many on our sailing that missed their flight that day.  I just hate flying in general.  Not the flights, just not being in control and all the potential delays.

It definitely is a pain though.  We had the same thing in Seattle returning from our Alaska cruise.  Off the ship as late as we could and at the airport and still had to wait 2 hours for luggage check in to open and not really any seating before security.
