upwarduk Posted July 9, 2018 #2903 Share Posted July 9, 2018 (edited) SHIP: Silhouette CABIN #: 6243 DECK #: 6 Port CLASS: 2C partially obstructed AREA: Midships near aft elevators QUIET?: Yes! No noise at all. BALCONY VIEW: We had a slight gap between a large and small lifeboat. Meant that we could see down on to the sea. BALCONY SIZE: Slightly larger, 4 th off the hump. WIND A PROBLEM?: No SOOT A PROBLEM?: No PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: For our first time our bed was by the balcony. This meant I was able to take photos of the midnight sun. It still meant that it was difficult access to the wardrobe, as the settee arm was in the way. Edited July 9, 2018 by upwarduk
smina Posted July 12, 2018 #2904 Share Posted July 12, 2018 SHIP: Reflection CABIN #: 9366 DECK #: 9 CLASS: Concierge AREA: Starboard AFT BED NEAR: Bath QUIET?: Extemely! Only sounds were from the two rooms on either side on ship disembarkation day when they got up early to pack up and were slamming shut drawers/closets BALCONY VIEW: Very nice view, no obstructions. Got to see beautiful port views each port. BALCONY SIZE: Regular size with two chairs, a table and two footstools WIND A PROBLEM?: No SOOT A PROBLEM?: None PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: No issues with this room at all. Could feel the rocking of the boat on some rougher nights/days, but was not a problem at all - was the same rocking felt throughout the ship on those nights/days. Would book it again! cmhdoogalsatsea Posted August 12, 2018 #2913 Share Posted August 12, 2018 SHIP: Equinox CABIN #: 1548 DECK #: 11 CLASS: Aqua 2 AREA: Front BED NEAR: Balcony QUIET?: Yes This is under a little used corner shop for the Spa and a little used corner of the Solarium. I heard a cart rolling by upstairs on a couple mornings around 8am, otherwise pretty quiet other than standard front of ship cutting thru the water noise. BALCONY VIEW: Unobstructed. Great for night time stargazing and day time sunning. BALCONY SIZE: Standard WIND A PROBLEM?:No SOOT A PROBLEM?:No PROBLEMS/COMMENTS:This is the last cabin before the Deck 12 slant out. Thus there's no overhang worries in this cabin but it starts right next door in 1550

Sorry but this should be for cabin 6238. Someone pointed out that I muddled up two of the numbers.
