  1. Cabin pending, deck pending..just means you bid on an UG. You may find out as late as 1 day before, if it is approved or disapproved by email. Have a great cruise.
  2. Not true. The “check in” is blue, green and gray for every one. The “priority boarding” still exists suites/elites/Platinum.
  3. Wonder what they will charge? Will it be complimentary for suite guests? Hmmm🤔
  4. Next year I show arrival 0700 at Brooklyn for Enchanted, which the guideline is 6 hours if leaving from LGA. Flight after 1pm. This is a Saturday, so you should be okay with a noon flight. If you’re booking a 12 noon flight, I would not hang around the ship. I would get off either self assist or in one of the first groups to disembark. I would grab a yellow cab. Every time we hang around, we get caught up in a line through customs, but worse than that is the taxi line outside. If that were the case, I’d order Uber. Or, if you really want to hang around, customs should not take long and you might book Carmel, as they have been around for many years and very reliable. Send them a message or call and get their opinion about when you should book the ride.
  5. That’s too bad. I’d like to see an overall focus of the different categories of cabins. Maybe I’ll skip this presentation on our next cruise. 😳
  6. The email address has been a quick reply for us. Usually within a few days. It just shows up on the cruise personalizer in your account.
  7. So true. If you’ve not cruised on other lines in a while, be prepared. We were so surprised in the amount of changes and charges. We’re sticking with PCL, for the time being. Nice to have choices.
  8. There is a good west coast departures thread that may be helpful to you. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/315-west-coast-departures/
  9. If you have a TA or CVP, you could check with them. If you booked directly, you would have to call in to Princess. I’m sure there are others who are interested also.
  10. I would let my roll call know we have a room confirmed for 100 and working on a larger room. I would also restrict more signups or run a waitlist now, in case you get a bigger room. Closer to time, I’d ask for a final count. Meanwhile, I would still try contacting OB services. Didn’t they give you a contact? You should have someone coordinating it for you. Not everyone shows up either. Once OB, of course, work with the GS agent or events planner.
  11. Cruise vacation planner, an agent who works for PCL Princess Cruise Line. We’ve had great CVP’s and some not so great. 🥴 Worth a shot. GTY guarantee room. Princess assigns the room.
  12. You are far enough out, there will be many changes in cabins. If it was the itinerary that I wanted, I’d call in to PCL and get a CVP and see what they can do. They sometimes can see cabins that you can’t see online. I would not count on getting cabins close together though. Near an elevator, we have not heard noises, never an issue and I’m a light sleeper. @Ombudhad a great suggestion of doing a GTY for a category that you’d be happy with. If you are assigned a cabin, you can watch if another opens in your category, call agent right away to change. There are many cabins held by TA’s to book and if not sold, those will be released. This is peak season for Europe and of course it will be full, most likely. PCL CVP 1 (800) 901-1172
  13. Oh, you’re right. It was wishful thinking. 🤣
  14. Post 223 on this thread has menus and prices, thanks to @dides
  15. O’Malley’s, Ocean Terrace, Vines & Gigi’s, from what I remember.
  16. If you bring 10-12 bottles, they may stop you and have you visit the alcohol table for corkage fees or store until the last night. We have embarked many times from Barcelona and no problem, however, we only bring on local wines and 2 bottles usually. We’ve found if you bring on wine from the region, they will send you through. But, 10-12 IDK. If you pay corkage fees when you bring it on, they don’t charge again in the MDR. Only once. Or, just bring a glass to dinner, NP. We’ve also brought on wine from Italian stops, 2 bottles and never had a corkage fee at the port, but if you take the bottle to dinner, expect a corkage fee. YMMV
  17. Correct. It has happened to me and others, as well. There seems to some type of security in place with multiple GC’s, when adding them. I would suggest using about 8 at a time. Maybe wait 15 mins and then add more. TA’s can do that for you. It rejects the 10th or 11th one and then you have to get that GC reinstated by AARP via their contact at PCL. A pain, so I would even just have my TA add some to my record a week or two before FP. Then, maybe the last 8 GC’s at FP. Just a workaround, for ease of using them.
  18. I could not apply them online, because I booked through a TA. My TA could apply them towards the payment. Or, just use them for FP. Maybe if you booked directly with Princess online, you can add them yourself.
  19. Yes you can. Your TA just cross references the bookings and PCL knows your traveling together. They don’t have to do that, but it may be helpful in some cases. Example: We were doing a 360 meal and because we had relatives traveling with us and cross referenced, they invited them also. Another example: If the party had any problems, like medical or onshore excursion was late, and they were trying to locate them, they would see if they were traveling with anyone. So, up to you.
