  1. A search turned of this, and there were other threads as well so if you do research you can probably find more
  2. Why feel like you have to overcome your negative mindset. Use your onboard credit or something else you will enjoy more
  3. Never seen it. They only have what is on the menu (see post #2)
  4. I have never seen cereal served at the elite breakfast on any Celebrity ship. Perhaps you’re confused with another line, Cublet?
  5. Oh don’t get us started on all the handicap accessible failures on edge
  6. Thousands of suitcases need to be taken to staterooms, pallet after pallet of supplies are onloaded and need to be put in the proper storage areas, new staff come on board and need to get checked in and settled in their quarters, and so much more goes on behind the scenes. Yes, the crew is just busier on embarkation day.
  7. You were calling Captains Club, yes? Which number did you use?
  8. No, their info was correct. The repo cruise went all the way down To the ABC ISLANDS, which are defined in the Act as being distant Foreign ports. To go from one US Port to a different Us port you must visit a distant foreign port to go in and out of the same US port, any foreign port will do. boarding in Key West would have turned the cruise from a closed loop cruise where any foreign port would work, to an open loop cruise, where the ABC ISLANDS or some other distant foreign port would have been required
  9. Interesting but that didn’t answer the question. Did you receive the Captains Club instructions in your stateroom? A form like tge one in post #22.
  10. At this stage I would say that the chances of any balconies opening up are pretty small since you are after final payment and any state rooms being held by Travel agent will have been released by now.
  11. Did you receive the Captains Club instruction sheet in your stateroom? Did you keep it for your files? What did it say about happy hour drinks being ordered in a restaurant?
  12. It was interesting that several times taking a taxi to a beach or an attraction was mentioned, as opposed to promoting Celebrity shore excursions. I was surprised to see that
  13. But on Celebrity they really dont care what state or country you come from…when sailing out of North America, they go with 21
  14. I think you have surmised correctly.
  15. The solo cabins are somewhat cheaper than the price they charge for a single occupancy of a two person cabin. But it is complicated. Usually they charge a single person double the single rate if they are occupying a two-person cabin by themselves. But not always. Sometimes they offer specials where a single occupant pays 150%, not 200%. And those specials are often capacity controlled so they may offer it for one or two rooms on the ship but then from then on it goes back up to the regular rate. The single occupancy Cabins have their own complicated rate structures, but keep in mind that they are smaller rooms. You will find that you will probably need to do a mock booking for each kind of room to see how they compare
  16. Ha ha of course I meant main, not man. Slip of the finger.
  17. I see that you posted further information just as I was posting. For the Tuscan grill, most of our friends order the charcuterie board for the table, then have an appetizer, a salad, a man with sides, and a dessert. It’s a lot of food. Don’t eat lunch that day!
  18. Which ship? Which restaurants? the general answer is, You may order as many courses as you wish. If you want an appetizer, a soup, salad, a main, and a dessert, Go for all five. if you want just three courses, thats ok too Since you titled your thread OBC, I am thinking that you are inquiring mostly about the extra cost specialty restaurants rather than the main dining room? But some clarification on your question would help us give you a better answer
  19. Look on your cruise planner and it should tell you there,
  20. It was a very poorly written survey, and far too long, so my answers became invalid because I began choosing “neutral” instead of “agree” or “disagree” for all of the questions about two-thirds of the way through. It was a waste of the credit card company’s money.
