  1. Wow.. sorry for all your stress. Sounds like you have a solution. We will all be rooting for you - Even the RAT. LOL
  2. I can understand your anxiety but you have plenty of time. As others suggested you could always do a self proctored test the night before flight and then take your test once you arrive at your hotel. You could also do it when you get up before your flight. You don't have to sit at your computer or phone for the whole 15-20 minutes. After you do the Swab you can leave your computer had have breakfast or coffee and a buzzer sounds when the 15 minutes are up and you then click a button to finalize the reading of the test results. From when I tested positive it will show Positive long before the 15 minutes. Most times within 20-30 seconds. Going through airport security stress is 10x worse than taking the test. Enjoy your vacation
  3. The minutes are connection time. You can log on and off multiple times throughout the cruise but if you accidentally forget to LOGOFF all your minutes will be burnt of when you come back. Prior to packages I use to do this and made sure I had book marked the LogOff Screen. Also remember that you both get the 90 minutes so can create a second account when you burn off the first ones limit.
  4. Cruise deckplans have some good tools and links - While I've never been in the cabin it should be quiet as there are only rooms above and below it and no service areas accross from the room It is not listed as an obstructed view on a Celebrity Travel Agent link that show obstructions by cabin that have obstructed views. https://www.thecelebritycommitment.com/360_Solstice_Class.html This is a youtube video of the same cabin on Starboard - so while may not have been revolutionized yet shows the view -
  5. Google Voice is another option. I use mine mostly when i have to give a phone number out and don't want telemarketing calls, but used the app while on a ship to call my kids on their home numbers.
  6. May not be a potato chip but they have Pringles in the Gift Shop. I have seen them at lunch sometimes at the sandwich station both bulk and sometimes in individual bags.
  7. It is still showing on Cruise Planner on Day 3 Never knew Greenland had palm trees and beaches.
  8. The fine print at least what I can see says 2 HOURS in the picture from the website. I really couldn't read the picture from the link where it may say 1-2 days.
  9. I had the same thing happen on Silhouette being told they could not accommodate us at all on the night we requested even though we gave the Retreat Concierge the request. I would have to blame it on the Concierge because he forgot to book it when I first requested. The other concierge and I went and talked to the Maitr' D and he was able to accommodate. She was unlike her partner a Super Star of a Concierge. I'm still in contact with her. Murano was only half filled which made me wonder why all the drama. I later understood they were having a Chef's Table Dinner and were pulling seating so they could properly handle the extra demands of the dinner.
  10. As others said it is the passengers to know the travel requirements. The Summit Cruise to Greenland and Back as well as the New England Canada cruises are unique and may not be printed out in a easy to find location - We should all agree Celebrity is not the best at messaging as I was sent a message that we require a Bermuda Travel Authorization for the Greenland Cruise. It is posted as a requirement on the Alaska area but is real clear (at least in my mind) that CANADA REQUIRES - and doesn't say if arriving from any specific port or location. The link sends you to the ArriveCAN website where it will spell in detail in more detail than any of us would wish to read, that you have to fill it out if ARRIVING INTO CANADA. Canada requires arriving travelers to complete an entry form prior to arrival. The form can be found here. It takes less than 5 minutes to fill out and much easier using the App because you just scan your passport and it imports all the passport details.
  11. @drakes2 I just did a Google on Riverside and Covid test - It returned the official Riverside Hotel page at https://www.riversidehotel.com/ Half way down the page The link takes me to instructions but too small for my tired old eyes to read. I can see it is close by and says appointments required and proof of insurance required in advance so may have to pay.
  12. I would think Ensemble Lounge may meet your requirements. They have lots of seating and generally in the evening have soft either classic, violin or guitar music. Cellar Master may also be an option it is usually very lightly used but not sure of the noise level as it is across from Martini Bar and the main Foyer well. But if sitting in the back you may be protected
  13. You will be perfectly dressed as long as you have on long pants and a collared shirt even a Izod. I'm sure you will feel comfortable wearing what you wish as you described.
  14. Also don't know about Equinox but Silhouette had about a dozen for the TA in April. With a high British passenger load they were sold out in the first half of the cruise. Equinox being a recent return to service and on the Caribbean runs there is a good chance they may have some.
  15. I would definitely start by filing a dispute with your Credit Card. You will get an immediate temporary credit and Celebrity has 10 days to respond or the credit is made permanent and a bill back is issued to a Credit Card. I had to do this with a cruise at the beginning of Covid. At least it worked for me that I got a full refund instead of a FCC.
  16. Even that doesn't work. I've tried numerous times and if the Retreat Representatives are not available you are transferred to the General Sales Line - Unfortunately for many of us Zenith's the same thing occurs to the Zenith private line. No one answer and you get put to the end of the line on the General Sales Line. I do have a number of contact from over the years and usually do as above and e-mail. By the way. Requests can be made for dining but unfortunately a miss again on Celebrity's point. The reservation system for Specialty isn't open until 24 hours prior to the cruise. The Retreat Rep puts you on a list and sends it to the Retreat Host on the ship and works to accommodate. They don't necessarily hold back reservations and my request have been denied in the past until I personally had a word with the Maitr' d who suddenly was able to get me in. If you want a specific reservation date and time I find it safest to book it and pay for it and then have them credit it back to you on the cruise. Not the way it should work.
  17. I was imagining your hair standing on end as you came around the corner and a huge rat came running out. The optics were hilarious.
  18. If they do have any the will be 2 generations old (pre-covid).
  19. So happy to hear. Hold onto her email and phone. I've contacted mine recently about an upcoming cruise and COR questions. He answered quickly.
  20. I think Vax verification are way behind mine was only approved 21 days before sailing my August 19 still pending. I'll have to look closely and see when it's approved.
  21. Thanks ..wasn't sure when it shows. I thought it was at final payment date.
  22. When’s cruise. If before final payment may not show. If we look at my April cruise I get same as you. Here’s my next open tomorrow
  23. LOL> I was expecting a Big ol Rat also .... especially because it was in Caps.
