  1. Thanks you for taking time from your very busy cruise to share with us. Really have enjoyed.
  2. Lol... I definitely knew Jeremy wouldn't wear a matching outfit. I had some matching t-shirts made for our 33r Anniversary - Iain's response was no way am I going out as a Bobbsey Twin. I used the shirts as a substitution for card this year. Hope you have really nice weather for your cruise.
  3. @drakes2 Hope all goes well for you. Seeing lots of flight delays in the U.S today possibly because of a huge heat dome over much of the U.S. Been reading lots of problem with luggage in Amsterdam. I saw a news article yesterday that Delta Flew a plane back from Amsterdam with no passenger the whole plane was loaded with delayed luggage. As soon as you arrive at the terminal you will let all this start draining away. Amsterdam has a beautiful cruise terminal.
  4. A2 Cabin Shower Summit 9093
  5. You have to click the link on the confirmation of your original bid. If you go in via the link on the website it only shows one with the others as pending or potentially cancelled. But when you go in by the link all are open. On the other side if close to cruise all go cancelled and one Pending that usualy means 95% odds you have won.
  6. That's been my experience. You can almost set your watch by it. Generally once onboard you can request and often not until the next day are vacant cabins assigned to requests.
  7. I've not heard of any random testing on Celebrity. Either B2B testing, self reported or close contact to a positive passenger. If you are traveling and eating with a larger "party" you would be more likely to be tested without symptoms. In the past they use to test all close contacts (e.g. close by seating on a tour bus) but haven't heard of that recently. While on our TransAtlantic a Guest in the PH had a party and invited a number of guests including our next door neighbor in a RS. They were contact traced and even though negative the protocol at the time was they were quarantined to their cabin for the remainder of the cruise, they were still negative at the end of the cruise. Protocols have been changing almost monthly so unsure except what I read here.
  8. Generally a TA OBC is a refundable credit - even if not once on the ship just ask the front desk to refund you reservation and apply the TA OBC. Alternately if you confirm it is Refundable just keep you current cc charge and get the OBC credited back at the end of the cruise if you don't spend.
  9. They have been sending them out early recently. All 3 of our Summit Cruises in August became available at 75 days. I only received one invite but was able to go in once people on our roll call mentioned they received invites. I was able to bid using the link in the Manage Cruise. While they send out the invites early, in my experience they don't award cabins until about 10 days before sailing. On our August 8 cruise a number of people on our roll call were asking if anyone had been awarded an upgrade. So far no one has. On question #3. My experience is once a bid is awarded all other bids are cancelled and you can not bid again.
  10. Got it in writing from - Didn't want to sit on the phone and preferred it be in writing. ******************************* So great to hear from you! Yes, a Certificate of Recovery and positive test result taken a minimum of 11 days and maximum of 90 days prior to the departure date of your cruise even if your cruise is a back-to-back sailing. Please see the below regarding the Certificate of Recovery. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Is Celebrity accepting Certificates of Recovery? If I have recently recovered from COVID-19, what documentation am I required to provide? For all sailings departing on or after March 18, 2022, Celebrity is now accepting a Certificate of Recovery. We will not accept a Certificate of Recovery in place of a vaccination record. Guests must continue to show proof of full vaccination where required based on age, with the final dose of their vaccine administered at least 14 days prior to sailing. A Certificate of Recovery must meet the following requirements: Be on official letterhead from a healthcare provider, public health official or telehealth provider showing: The Provider’s name The Provider’s address The Provider’s phone number Confirmation of your recovery and completion of isolation Be typed (not handwritten) and signed by the provide Date of validity must extend throughout the duration of your cruise Include a positive result document for a COVID-19 test, either PCR or Antigen test, taken a minimum of 11 days and a maximum of 90 days before the departure date of your cruise. Include a positive result document for a COVID-19 test, either PCR or Antigen test, taken a minimum of 11 days and a maximum of 90 days before the departure date of your cruise. The test results document from your test provider must include the name of the lab that processed the test, the lab’s CLIA Lab Number or Certification Number, the address of the lab, your name, the date the test was taken, type of test, and your positive result. This can be a printed document, email, or telehealth app notification. Fully handwritten doctor’s notes (such as those written on a prescription pad) will not be accepted. Minimal handwritten components (such as a check mark on a “positive” box) are acceptable as long as the other required information is printed on the document. Sincerely,
  11. Can understand for sure. Another option might be to check at the front desk once you board and see if you can get a room for your intended use once on the ship. They may cut you a good deal barbecue they would be sailing empty.
  12. We also do the same. I have us setup under family share and give grant share privileges on the Findmy portal. We can also see where each other's iPhones are. While visiting in Scotland recently I shared our location with my brother-in-law ans we were both hiking and meeting up. It was helpful that we could see where each other was. I think it had an option to share for XXX amount of time or permanent.
  13. I think most couple are that way. Iain probably meets more people on the cruise because I'm usually the one behind the camera also. It might be dangerous if our other halves posted and we criticized them... LOL
  14. Love this picture - That band of clouds just pull you in.
  15. Combination of SS on two cruises and a CS on one. These cruises have been tough. Took me 4 months to finally get SS but a number are now available. When the CS popped up about 6 weeks ago I grabbed it an put it on hold until my agent could change my reservation.
  16. Range is approximately 25 feet . They are not a GPS tracking device. How does it work? From Apple site Your AirTag sends out a secure Bluetooth signal that can be detected by nearby devices in the Find My network. These devices send the location of your AirTag to iCloud — then you can go to the Find My app and see it on a map. The whole process is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy. And itʼs efficient, so thereʼs no need to worry about battery life or data usage.
  17. I had that happen to me last week (using the App). I did a hard close of the app and a reboot of my iPhone and it worked when I logged back on.
  18. How about one passenger see if they can book a SS with no single supplement. It would even be better if yo could get one with a connection one. Would be like a CS at a much lower price
  19. In order to be identified it has to be in Bluetooth range of either you or another iPhone (usually 20-25 feet). Many of the baggage agents use iPhones which help.
  20. I love mine but have to adjust one of the ones I keep in my car (Helpful if you forgot where you parked). I got an alert yesterday that I left my car behind (because it wasn't with me at the grocery store).
  21. I would call again and ask to speak to a Supervisor. I got my answer out of a contact at the executive office and a second one from a Concierge from the Engagement Center that processed my last claim. I might leave out that your still testing positive as that isn't important for a COR use. The reason for a COR is that some people continue to test positive up to 9 months after having Covid. As a guide post when coming back to the U.S. (testing was still required). I continued to test positive for 11 day (very light pink). The doctor said that after 5 days I would be released from quarantine and considered to be non-contageous. The COR requires 11 days after first tested Positive.
  22. Make sure you get a monitored test with Positive Results as that is required along with the COR.
  23. Really good assumption. We were on a cruise leaving when Southwest had their meltdown. About 250 passengers didn't make the cruise last minutes. Many of them from a Self Awareness Seminar Group. The ship was originally only at 800 so it was like a private yacht.
  24. I do that all the time --- you answer a post only to find 3-4 people answered while I slowly typed. Nahhh.. Iain doesn't post. I don't think he has ever logged into CC. He gets his daily fix by me reading interesting posts.
  25. Yahoooo...... Another fun adventure with Charla. I'm in need of a GenX fix. A big Happy 40th to you I anxious to see if Charla dresses Charla’s/GenX’s Husband to match her incredible wardrobe.
