  1. Currently at 45 days. If you use the App it will give you the exact date. Recently we figured out that Check-In opens exactly at 12:01 AM local time of the time zone of where the cruise is leaving from. A number of us on our Greenland cruise were checking to figure the exact time. Being in California I was able to checkin at around 5PM the night before.
  2. They have in the past but even when they did they were at least a generation old and were at original list price. Since the pandemic they have not updated any inventory that I've heard of and on all the ships I've been on there were no apple watches. The remaining iPads were at least 2 generation old. I would also love to hear if anyone has found otherwise. I'll be on Summit in 3 weeks and will report what I find.
  3. In our case we spoke with an agent and he processed the claim. I would definitely make phone call because I know mine and many others nothing happened until i had a real person with a phone number and email. All refunds were made to the credit card of my choice
  4. I know some hate the app but being a Silicon Valley Techno Nerd - I've grown to love it. Couple things come to mind and I ill be doing Summit in 3 weeks. Unfortunately you don't have all the fun stuff like the E-Class (lights, thermostate, drapery etc). Digital Key Book Dinner Reservations and Cancel including Specialty View your daily account real time (at the bottom where your express is located) Health Questionnaire before boarding Safety Drill once on ship Daily Planner and Your individual Calendar - Individual calendar also now notifies when a tour or reservations coming up Menus in all restaurants (handy if in Luminae or Blu and want to see if anything interests you in MDR. (M and S Class only). Reserve and cancel excursions while on the ship. View all upcoming reservations and do checkin for a future cruise. Sign up for Internet Package and I think they have a QR code to select the ships WiFi router without having to look. Shows ship time - Temperature - Gangway UP time and next port (lower left corner of screen with picture of ship When you click the white ship icon lots of fun information - example Services under Announcements shows All Aboard Times and other announcements.
  5. Yes. I do it all the time. Once you select a time it is locked in. I've gone back the next day and scanned in passport on phone and then went back to PC to manually add picture. C1 doesn't guarantee you any time. Checkin Time is first come first serve.
  6. In the past 6 months I have mostly seen 11:00 as the earliest. I have a Summit cruise in August out of Newark and all have 11:00. You may get a better idea if you specify Ship and Location.
  7. If it is on a Celebrity Confirmation it is a NR. Agents Refundables are not shown on the Celebrity invoice and don't show on your Manage Booking until you board the ship. Easiest is if you go to Manage account and select something to book Top Right nearer shopping cart you will see your remaining NR OBC. Once onboard the ship they will be coded as NR or R and I believe on the TV will write out the word.
  8. Thanks for clarifying. I had that CS recently assigned but suddenly one on 6 opened up and I put it on hold and had my agent do the room swap.
  9. The daily planner is usually just a place holder and usually a copy of an earlier sailing. As you get closer it will be updated. Don't trust all you see earlier. On our Greenland /Iceland cruise in 3 weeks it shows us arriving in Bermuda.
  10. The minimum required to initiate check in is to go in and choose a time of your choice on each passenger. It is easiest to do this using a phone and just click Arrival Time. It will lock in the time and then you can go back anytime and add everything else. That way you can get the same time slot of your choice.
  11. You can either show on phone or print - your preference. I usually click the button add to apple wallet in case internet connectivity or other issues. Never had to use my backup.
  12. NR OBC is use or loose. Agent or coded RF OBC will be either refunded to your credit card or the last day of the cruise they will allow you to withdraw in in cash. We often do this so we can give cash as additional gratuities. As you spend money they apply to NR first and once used up they apply against RF
  13. Amsterdam is like most other countries. If Amsterdam is your first port of call into the EU you will have to clear immigration into the EU. After immigration you just make your way to your connecting flight you Your luggage is sent to your final destination where you clear customs usually using the Red / Green lane system.
  14. We are always contacted by the Shoreside Concierge when in a CS or above. Saying that I've gotten the point of thinking why bother as usually all the request that are rather short never get through - Generally all I ask is swap the bubbly for Chardonnay, Pilllows and an extension cord. When I mention to the Stateroom they are all taken care of either immediately or before we go to bed.
  15. Don't give up. They will notify you 48 hours before when boarding time begins if offered wasn't eligible. I got a surprise on a recent cruise when I got a call 10 hours before boarding that we had been given a Gratis Upgrade to a RS. The person who had it tested positive and they had already closed the ships manifest. We had to get on ship with our original boarding pass and hand write or new room on tags. Mostly worked but our tv had theri names written on it instead of ours and sometimes problem with reservations- It seems to think that all four of us were in the room.
  16. I've been on 4 cruises this year and all of the Apple product was all pre-pandemic models including watches. On Silhouette for the European voyage they sold out all inventory of Apple products because Europeans could buy vat free (20-21%) and the found the price acceptable. I spoke to a representative from the franchise that runs the ICafe (it's not Apple but an agent) and he said until Celebrity totally sells off their old inventory they will not be replenishing. I assumed he knew what he was talking about but who knows.
  17. Usually the cruise will show immediately upon booking. It won't show much on the app re menus etc until closer to cruising. If it doesn't show (which has happened often) choose Link missing cruise from either browser or App. On the App it is at bottom under all your reservations
  18. I've tested positive and lots are testing positive both before or during a cruise. There's a post today from someone that tested today pre-cruise.
  19. Not required to be printed. Safest is to take a screen shot. If you really want a copy most front desks will print for you or have a business center people use to print boarding passes all the time.
  20. You can take the test any time after mid-night 2 days prior to your cruise. Testing is available 24 hours a day 7 days a a week including holidays.
  21. I would have to agree with what you are seeing. I normally find the Refundable to cost in the range of 1%. If far out I often book using refundable deposit and as I get closer I change to non-refundable when I get a price match. My thoughts are that it costs of the RF is more than the deposit I don't take the refundable option.
  22. @Cruisegoer Wonder if you checked your cruise today. The three cruises for August suddenly all reappeared this morning and I believe you July 30 is back with at least a SS available.
  23. You can test any time after Midnight. I did a test today 2:21 PM PDT and it reports UTC (previously called GMT or Zulu, it doesn't take into consideration the time zone you are in.
  24. When I go in using the Manage Reservation like you it shows one as pending but the other two as pending and can't modified or cancelled. If I go in using the link from the original confirmation I can modify or cancel all of them .
