  1. Well Geoff the latest ones I read were not that great, written by Aussies on the very recent eastern sea board cruises.
  2. The poor reviews are still there, go to member reviews top of this page.
  3. Yes they are, I must have been looking under a different title. Silly me.😬
  4. The poor member reviews on Coral appear to have been removed. Sounds iffy.
  5. You may have to do some more P&O Straya cruises, Chili. But then the P&O ships are rather ancient.
  6. God help us if they do drop the testing, covid positive people boarding a ship and spreading it to others is not on. What concerns me is the possibility ships coming here from North America with pax who have not been tested and are not vaccinated, that may happen.
  7. One would think all the cruise lines visiting this region will have to comply with our State Govt government protocols, i.e.covid vaccs, RAT's tests, Masking up, including Celebrity when they get here.
  8. I have turned green and started croaking just reading this thread.😆🐸
  9. The flight attendants should have got off their backside and cleaned the toilets. How could they run out of coffee and serve cold meat pies, pathetic.
  10. My son and family flew Qatar from Athens to Sydney on Monday, no masks on board. Mind you 10 days ago they all had covid and were denied boarding in Athens on Qatar via Doha to Sydney. It seems Doha wants covid free pax in transit. Absolute mistake in my opinion allowing pax to fly without masking up.🤐
  11. They should put on the Aussie Country music, bit of John Williamson stuff. Whack on a few meat pies in the buffet and MDR for luncheon.
  12. Have you tried going through the Australian Consulate in Rome? Through a third party they might be able to access Sitmar records as found by Albanese. You never know your luck. I was on Sitmar's 'MV Castel Felice', Southampton to Sydney in 1966. They were a good line.
  13. Another Ivan's pie - Lamb and veg. I have never seen a pie with so much filling. I wish. Not my pic but posted for you pie addicts.
  14. Your in laws will keep you in line then, no late night disco or karaoke, lol.
  15. $8 down here, if you can find one. Supermarkets just sell the chop chop bagged stuff. I like the cos, scarce.
  16. Julie, probably 3 years since I was there. The gf bases were ok. Most pizza places buy them in, dont make them there, hence the $5 or so surcharge for a gf base. At home making my own I buy the Senza gf base from coles, $5 each. Made in Italia. Coles own brand 2 for $5 are ordinary, dont crisp up.
  17. Via Napoli is great, been there a couple of times with my son and family when I am in the big smoke. Yep, i always ask for no garlic on my pizza 🍕 great family business.
  18. Few glasses of merlot with it Don, jubbly.
  19. Yes I checked their website. The big cottage pie was normally $14 at Coles here, but on special for $12. I could have got 3 feeds out of it but settled for two, did not have extras, veg etc with it. I would buy them again.
  20. Is cattle class Around 2500 to 3000. We were on Air Canada, very ordinary service wise.
  21. Probably in the company of 3500 North Americans. Will be an education for you.
  22. I have done 26 cruises on various cruise lines, but in the main Princess as per my signature. None of them were perfect., but generally good. Admittedly most of them from overseas ports. I still maintain lines like Princess drop the ball a bit on Australian based cruises. OK, I am heading for the Bomb Shelter again, lol.
  23. OK back on track, I purchased an Ivan's cottage pie from Coles the other day, think it was $12 on special. Anyway it was great for me, no pastry and no gluten disclosed in the allergens. I got two dinners out of it. Air fryer job. Lubbly Jubbly. No garlic !! lol.
