I am staying in the haven on my September 29th cruise on the getaway, my wife and I are gonna try the lunch only because it’s free and we have not try it. I will update with my review of it

Sporting events honestly I enjoy sitting poolside on a Sunday embarkation day to watch what ever football game is on. I get to watch Thursday night football next month on embarkation day as well.. Always fun. Never get my team lol becasue my Jets are horrible lol

So I am on the Getaway September 29th out of Port Canaveral, 9 night cruise and there is plenty of inventory. With the exception of Haven being sold out and spa balconies, I looked up my sailing and did a mock booking. each section say deck 14 forward had the 15 available cabins showing, then i went to aft and the same, I did this for every balcony deck and the only section sometimes didn't show the 15 was midship. so just balconies say from deck 8 to deck 14 showing 30 cabins empty each deck is currently 180 empty balconies. This is 1 month prior to sail date. I have a feeling will be well below capacity and also think a lot of inside to Balcony upgrades will be won,

Since we typically drive, we have our breakfast in the Haven and then walk off with all our luggage and on the road by around 8am.

So when I was bidding from balcony to say owners suite minimum bid was 2k, now I payed to upgrade from balcony to courtyard haven and the minimum bid now for the delux owners suite is 800

Give it a few days, I paid to upgrade from balcony to courtyard haven, my bids still showed me in balcony for about 3 or 4 days, then showed me in courtyard and only cabins I could upgrade to was the owners suites and 2 bedroom haven. Minimum bids also went down substantially for the owners and 2 bedroom.

Finally glad to see the crews smiling faces again!!!!!!

So I am listening to people say that why is the Haven at the top of the ship? Well pretty hard to have a private sundeck inside the Haven complex when it would be middle deck mid ship. Also, since haven is a key card access area, you want to limit as much traffic in that area as possible, so putting it on the highest passenger deck either forward or aft makes sense. I will also say the forward facing penthouse (outside Haven complex) is by far the best value. I have sailed in it and the room is awesome, master bedroom is bigger then the 2 bedroom suite, bathroom is large as well with separate shower and soaking tub. Also window in bedroom is nice also. Only down side is balcony is very small. I have been in forward facing and 2 bedroom havens, next month I am in a courtyard penthouse and I will absolutely miss the separate bedroom forgot to mention havens we’re on getaway and breakaway

I don’t believe it’s a scam, nobody is forcing anyone to participate in any bidding processes! I for one love to bid as it usually saves me thousands to stay in the Haven

I agree, Since when can a casino manager ever dictate what machine you play. I have done slot pulls where everyone puts in a $15 bill we find a $1 Machine 5 max bet spins each, and I also did one with $20 per person on a $5 machine with a 2 coin bet each person got 2 spins.

Correct, all Haven Bids I have one came as soon as 6 days out, but last 2 I won were 4 days out. Haven are the first to get announced, then goes club balconies etc...

We are also doing a park and cruise hotel, Town Country and suites. night before cruise and 9 nights parking was $240.00. $10 Uber to the pier and done and done!!!

Yes, I work for a Casino that offers me 10% off cruises with NCL, I have used Casino at Sea my last 3 cruises and all payments had to be made over the phone...annoying but not a major issue.

My wife and I took our oldest son 20 and his girlfriend 20 on the Breakaway last march. We where all in the Haven and all I did was assign myself and my son to one room and my wife and his girlfriend to another. No staff cared and we even informed their Butler and he said not an issue. Plus made sure the Butler would rat on them if they did anything stupid lol

Thats what i was just thinking....But also would let another person know that they are close to the lead once the go into the lead then go back to trailing. Its a risk. I have a bid on the Deluxe Haven Owners suite for Sept 29th Getaway nine night cruise. I am currently in Haven Courtyard. I am only bidding because it is the only Haven Suite left and I actually put in a strong bid...Figure you never know lol

We are on a 9 night cruise also in Haven (Getaway September 29th). We will not get any more specialty dinners as we typically like to do Cagneys and another one ( most likely this cruise the Italian Restaurant). We have done Hibachi, and Le Bistro already. We also love love love te Haven Menu and that will cover another 3 or 4 days at least. We also sometimes will enjoy a light bar food dinner at the Pub on the Getaway as the food is very good for informal meals.

Im on the September 29th Getaway cruise....I will update when i find out. Odds are not a chance but ok with my courtyards Haven I have already

I will agree, Now i do cruise in the Haven, I am absolutely not Rich in anyway lol. Actually 2 of the three cruises i have done in the haven i won bidding on them. Now as far as class, I have only encountered a few Haven guests that absolutely thought that their SH*T didn't stink lol.

Paradise beach is excellent, all inclusive made to order food, book through them and get there early and you can end up with a day bed. Roatan, I absolutely recommend little French key!!!!

I can tell you that smoking is permitted on one side of the casino and when I was on the breakaway in March it wasn’t to bad, but I didn’t spend much time in the casino, other then that deck 15 a enclosed small area that could fit maybe 12 people was alas available for smoking. Also one small area in the haven on the sun deck

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever won a bid for the delux owners suite on either the breakaway or the getaway? I am in a courtyard and have a bid on the line remaining cabin which is the delux owners suite and wondering if I have a shot? I am bid in the fair range. Thanks everyone

I can not speak on flavors, but on my last BReakaway cruise in March, every girl under the age of 25 had them lol, and some over, so they were very available at the pool deck.
