I agree with your comment about Canaletto. My fav is Tamarind and they will have a pop-up on the Zaandam cruise I am presently on with a limited menu. $35 + 18% gratuity. I won’t go as the only times left were very late.

I will pass on the cookies and drinks. I went to Kona on my Hawaii cruise. Let’s see if I can find some pictures. It’s a sea day today. A tiny bit rocky but not bad. Tonight we are having a Beerfest Dinner (“Enjoy traditional German food offerings….”) and the 3pm tea is “German Tea Time” but I have a reservation at Pinnacle for dinner 😀. It seems port day offerings are the boring standard fare for things to do but today I kept marking things to do and some conflicted. Talks about Brazil, the Amazon, Devils Island etc. we went through some sargassum a little earlier. thoughts for all and 🍾 to everyone!!! Have a great day.

Good afternoon. I thought I had posted earlier but must not have. @JazzyV I am glad that you are back from your procedure and it works. Nice cruising past the Pitons yesterday. Also had grilled conch for lunch on shore Sitting waiting to sail away from Scarbourgh Trinidad. Hot as jeebies and humid. We did get a “safety warning” last night in our cabins. so far this has been wonderful. Thoughts for all and cheers!!

Good morning from Castries St Lucia. Interesting days today. Again I think I will pass on the food and drinks. I have never been to the port. During World History in high school I became fascinated by the Romanovs. Humorous quote. I went on an excursion yesterday around Sint Maarten ending at Maho Beach. No big planes took off but an AA from Miami landed so I did achieve my goal of seeing a plane land so close to my head!! Dinner was a roasted suckling pig, fantastic andouille sausage, breaded shrimp and other delicious dishes. This was in the Lido which I prefer as I can get a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Getting ready to head off on another excursion which will end at a beach 👍 @Sharon in AZ so sorry to hear about the crappy ending to your cruise. @seagarsmoker I am glad your job is going well! I didn’t know this was a “Legendary Voyage” until I got the bag. And the tile is about 1 and a half times bigger than the others. No cork backing either. It is lovely!!!!

Good morning to all and thanks for the daily and fleet report. My brother was a Coast Guard shipman so I will celebrate the day but I don’t want to be part of a tug of war. Never been to the port, have made kale pesto (it is less expensive than basil) but will pass on the rest. Had to look up the missing word in the quote 😉. Nice day at sea. Our clocks went forward 1 hr. Missed dinner last night so ended up getting room service while watching a movie. Finally went to bed ~ 0030. Up at 0600 and it was still dark outside. Been going to the Oui Brazil and the naturalist Michael Douglas talks. VERY interesting. Dressy night tonight. Not sure if I will go to the MDR unless there is escargot!!! Good morning to all. Thanks for the daily and fleet report. I think I will drink some wine today in celebration of the day! Pass on all the goodies today. Never been to the port. I was exhausted from all the traveling and stuff the last couple of days so retired early to bed. I even slept in this morning. Got to my cabin yesterday and there was an invite to a Mariner reception for 3* but it had my name and a couple’s name on it. Thought that was weird. Came back to my cabin later and their luggage was in my room!! I told the cabin steward they could have the couch! 🥴. There were 2 coupons for the Mariner cocktail in the room on my arrival - with the ship name and voyage # on them - and the steward came back in the early evening to retrieve them and give me another one. Weird!! nice people on board and I am looking forward to this cruise. Thoughts for all and cheers for those celebrating. Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning to all from the Port of Miami! It took some doing to get here but I made it!!! Ground stop in Denver so we couldn’t take off from LAX. 2 hrs late getting into Denver and about 1.5 hrs late getting into Miami. Couldn’t find the baggage claim but finally did. Uber to the port, dropped off my luggage, walked around the port and chilled. Already checked in and now just waiting to board. Group 1! May the fun begin!!! I book HAL because I like what it offers and doesn’t offer. Everyone has to make up their own mind what they want and expect. After 10 cruises with HAL, the pluses are much more than the minuses for ME. Why would I experiment with other lines? Because I am satisfied with the product/experience HAL offers and don’t want to waste my hard earned money with a “what if”. That opinion is not for everyone but it works for me.

I love my insides!!!! But then again I’m rarely in them!☺️
