Here is an "important" question - what brand of artificial coffee/tea sweetener will they have. I remember when Crystal dropped sweet and low (pink envelop) and only had Equal (blue package). There were many, many unhappy people on this board and many promises never to sail Crystal again.

I've gotten personal phone calls from a couple of cruise lines after I requested a brochure.

So you're saying the list price isn't the real price. I hated that when the sites would list a price but then the "you pay" price. Horrible way to treat luxury travelers. Give me only 1 price the real price. If I've earned a special discount then that is fine but not a discount for everyone.

Keith - you need to be a UCONN fan - although that could also change quickly. The only thing that won't change is the value of NY Pizza

A&K is a company that needs to do business and make money to continue. People might like them to give everyone a full refund of the money that they lost to a different company. I'd rather see them help customers, make money and keep the greatness that was Crystal continue. Help customers, attract customers and do business - sounds good to me.

Sure all would love to get all the money back ASAP but they are giving some back under some conditions. As said they don't need to do anything. Even if only to increase bookings that are less than they want it is still giving back to people who lost money to another company.

I was in technology - I remember going to conferences put on by cc:Mail (before they were bought by Lotus). cc:mail was one of the first commercially available email systems. You'd go to the conference, people would make suggestions and the next day they'd hand out floppy disks with the new versions based upon the suggestions - come a long way from there.

Been docked in Triest - next to Crystal Serenity and Symphony for a couple of days not

Some people also don't want to publish what cruise they are on and do not do meet and greets.

Maybe Crystal can fiend a way to teach bridge and allow gambling at the tables at UMI UMA - and if you do all that your price for extra meals at specialty restaurants will be reduced to $30.

The old history that used to exist on the old Crystal site are also gone I had found that I could actually lookup cruise itineraries from years ago. It is time to move on but ..

I noticed also that Symphony has reversed. Wonder if work from dock being done on each side.

So far the comments gives me great hope for Crystal. Seems as if a company that cares about quality and passenger experience.

Might be a good reflection of what the new Crystal will be because I'm sure it will somewhat reflect the A&K philosophy and what they consider important to passengers.

Yeats ago the movies were quite good - the hits just after they left the theaters. Now those same movies are on streaming services so probably a lot harder or much more expensive for a cruise ship to get and show.

I think it was similar before with the old Crystal. I see it on other cruise line sites

Hopefully, the many comments here will influence them to change this. I'd think there will be a bunch of changes/ refinements in the next several months.

Having "nothing" there - even if tables and chairs gives them the ability to change what is there and what they do with it easily. Not supposed to say this but Time will Tell

I'm sure there are people who won't cruise Crystal because no casino - they always seemed busy. I used to go occasionally but probably haven't been in at least 5 years. I'm not sure why they decided no casinos but I'm sure it won't kill the cruise line but it will cost it some customers. Not sure why they needed more sitting and talking space because there always seemed to be plenty and with reduced guest capacity... I hope all those people who don't do boards and who don't pay attention to details on web site don't get too upset when after they are on board they realize their evening entertainment is gone.

I remember seeing people in jeans on formal nights in the dining room on Crystal and no one attempted to enforce dress code.
