  1. Had 2 excursions we were on waitlist for this cruise we are on. We found out 2 days before 1 and the other I found out by seeing a charge on our folio. Got the notice from excursion desk when tickets showed up the night before.
  2. We had NFL on last leg 09/29-10/10 and now on this one 10-10-10/24. Both out of Southampton, but on the Regal
  3. One of our best sports watching cruises was an Oct Sea of Cortez sailing where we had MNF, World series Tues/Wed, NFL Thurs, World series Friday, NCAAF on Sat and world series and NFL on Sunday. A lot of people weren't happy about the MUTTS selection. Only 1 WS game was in the Vista lounge.
  4. I've been able to stream YouTubeTv, but you must go through a VPN as it doesn't allow out of the country watching.
  5. Today, Sea-Cin, Sfo-Clv. When there is an international game, Ravens v ? this am ( we were out ) it comes on early. Had NFL every weekend since we boarded 09/29. NCAA football on Saturdays. We are going East to West so late times. On the Regal, games in Club 6, also some on Muts. 2 NFL channels on in room TV.
  6. Southampton had a seperate PES boarding lane. We took all of 11 minutes from cab drop off to on board ship. We were on the ship around 10:45-11:00
  7. I really can't remember. The internet attendant took care of it for me. I was only able to download one book, other 2 wouldn't.
  8. On the Crown in March, an Internet cafe worker created a hotspot on his laptop to which I was able to download one of the books I had bought. It only worked for one book, but that was better than nothing. Other people were able to also use his hotspot. I just download early now.
  9. Easy, go across the Street to Walmart/Sams Club😀 We've done a Zipline tour and our kids have done the full adventure tour with zipline, rock slide, ATV's.
  10. Guess so! Was able to get scores on NCCAF today at sports bar( forget what its called 6 something), while they were showing FOX. Better networks on, just wish other games could be shown.
  11. I went to guest services 2 days ago and was told they don't keep tokens at desk anymore.
  12. After 40yrs of airline flying my hearing isn't what it should be, I'm also concerned about my neighbors being able to hear my loud TV. As for snoring, I at least have that fixed with my Bipap machine😀 Mahalo for all the input. I'll wait and see how the seas on the TA are being forward on the ship. We've been in very rough seas full aft and enjoyed it, wondering what a forward experience will be like.
  13. We are on first cruise where we have a mid forward cabin, our go to cabin is the most rear mini on deck 8 on a Grand class ship.. We are on a Royal Class ship now and will be on one on our next cruise. We are liking this location, and will decide after our TA if we'd like to change to this location. Our next cruise is 40 days and we have a mid aft mini booked and it's an adjoining room. Have read some negative comments about adjoining rooms. Don't think this length of cruise will have ,any kids onboard so not much worry about that. Just wonder about general noise and anyones experiences
  14. We are on the same cruise. Can't comment on your experience, BUT Been able to facetime with our Grandkids, Watch Netflix every night, Able to cable my phone to my TV and watched NCAA Football and NFL via YouTubeTV. VPN working perfectly. Guess everyone has a different experience and expectations.
  15. Funny, that steamers been on at least 5 Princess cruises, the latest last March. Just didn't feel like lugging it around this time. Guess we'll use the perk and send out our things to be pressed, steamed. Still plan on doing much of our own laundry, I don't mind.
  16. My wife usually brings a steamer to steam her formal wear. Not so sure we want to bring it this time. I usually do our laundry and would iron our things while she steamed some. I'm thinking of just sending things out to be pressed/steamed. We've done the ship behind the scenes tour ( awesome if you can do one) pre covid and don't remember seeing them steaming anything. Do remember the large industrial table pressers. Any thoughts?? Mahalo
  17. We've re-booked through Shore Trip and Tours for the Hobbiton Express. I read in our roll call that the 3rd party tour carrier decided NOT to do any cruise excursions. Might be Princess is looking at securing a new vendor but in the meantime we booked this tour.
  18. Was the Tauranga one to Hobbiton? Ours was cancelled in April 2024. Of course we haven't been notified yet but it has disappeared from excursions list.
  19. Hers was on the Legend sailing on 09/02 from Baltimore.
  20. Heard from a family member that this cruise was a cluster? Weather does change itineraries, but was said not too great froma Carnival loyalist. Just asking.
  21. Are you talking about adding them for OBC pre cruise? I tried to pay for excursions using AARP gift cards, but that was a No Go. I was told I could add them on as OBC once onboard.
  22. Grissle in the Rib Eye. Cut of meat wasn't up to past standards.
  23. Chilean Sea Bass at the CG. BUT, took one bite of my wifes Rib Eye and ended up with a broken tooth. Sticking with the Sea Bass next time, wife says pass.
