  1. They got rid of the NCL Exhaust as part of the ...Sail and Sustain... program to reduce their carbon footprint.
  2. Welcome to CC. Can't answer that but can say the internet is like dial-up on Prima.
  3. It was open for lunch long time ago on Escape. Prima did not see it open on the TA.
  4. Benefits are not there nor being replaced. We too were on Prima TA. Wine tasting sold out. Waitlist with no call. No bts. No dinner with officers. No Sapphire pins. No apology from cruisenext desk. But sure, they had plenty of time to call room to sell cruisenext certs. No thanks.
  5. No sapphire pins on our Prima cruise.
  6. Well, at least give credit that 'Sail and Sustain' has replaced 'for your convenience, of course'. We fully support this new initiative and to help have booked our upcoming trip with three suites on another line.
  7. Haven breakfast filet to something else.
  8. We had great flights to Europe with great times. Saved thousands. We didn't have to buy any ncl insurance.
  9. We sailed Prima recently and had the package shown everyday on the main NCL page, we did not upgrade. Crown was $1.00 + 20% upcharge, for your convenience, of course. In Haven saw all drinks mixed with cans of soda. Want just a can of soda, no, that is 100% charge or you can get tap soda for free.
  10. I think a fair question. I gave little hope as the shutdown kept extending yet they are here today. I was wrong. Delicate balance to get folks onboard and for us die yards here who know too much. IMO they could care less about regular, frequent cruisers whether insides, balcony, club, suite, or Haven. They can penny pinch onboard yet send three a week glossy flyers to our house. Maybe give option of little extra onboard and save flyers to help carbon footprint, for our convenience, of course.
  11. It stinks the times they have for some ports. We were there once and did not have much planned. We decided to take a small, open air truck tour from one of the vendors. Super cheap and great time. Saw plenty of island, had a beach stop. Beautiful country. Driver very nice and hilarious.
  12. Pan Am terminal is not a nice terminal. We embarked there on the Gem and it is not really big enough. Thought in years past they had things working smoothly for Epic but so far this season reports are no.
  13. 12 days. Southampton, Scotland (cancelled), two days Iceland, Halifax, NYC. We were on it.
  14. The buffet on Sun is small but you can eat outside or use Moderno during breakfast and lunch which is port side from buffet. The outside area has a small selection of food and drinks.
  15. Our last Escape trip one of the first things butler said was he could not bring drinks to room under drink package for free.
  16. Interesting to hear and sorry that happened. Thanks for sharing.
  17. Just adding some info here as the bidding info here is somewhat limited unlike the long thread on NCL board. They both use the same company though. So today we added a third room to our YC booking and they got the upgrade invite email. Guess what, the starting points are higher now than what we bid. I guess I'm not surprised and that it makes sense for the cruise line but it just rubs me the wrong way. So a later booker gets preference, at least from these two data points (trip is a b2b). But in any case, I have not found the MSC bids to be much of a deal anyways overall, and in some cases, more than booking outright when making initial booking.
  18. If you like deviled eggs order those. They are pretty good.
  19. Those rooms don't get any special discounts. There will be the $29.99 bag special. The deck 12 DOS is in a great spot and quiet. That room gets three bottles of wine from a list plus a sparkling wine, in room sodas and water. Note on POA they won't deliver Cagney's to room for breakfast or lunch.
  20. Sorry to hear that. How did they handle embarkation? Was there more than one area? When the Epic first sailed there it was a mess but they eventually created more check in spots including outside from what I've seen reported which made things better.
  21. So one week later and nearly 3 p.m. backed up again way to main road at least.
  22. We stayed in 16702. One of the worst rooms ever due to movable wall to the OS to the left. It leaked noise like crazy even though neighbors were talking in normal levels. But if you are sailing with family than maybe ok. The room behind has more of a traditional door and never heard a peep of the family of three. I've only read one or two reports over the years of people booking both and opening the wall. There is a wrap around balcony but they put in a door divider as it turns the corner which even in Port is a safety hazard as it acts like a sail when not latched.
  23. Welcome to CC. Actually you are encouraged to speed as they have a leader board.
