  1. I recall the JARS. Think those went away under Kevin. We'll only call you a dinosaur if you talk about midnight buffet, ice sculptures, baked Alaska, and eel. Wait, the eel was on Princess, too expensive for NCL even in the day.
  2. Some packages have 'free' wifi and most recent reports is like dial up as we had on Prima.
  3. Escape one our favorites. Haven pool does have a roof.
  4. OP, you have not entered the Twilight Zone, rather Latitudes He... 99% you are toast. Our kids had all history and you used to be able create account for them around age 15 IIRC. All was actually correct. They made a change around 2017 that kids kept history but did not get status until turned 18. They had a clause in there that if kid had already hit status that level would be their status at 18. Well, our DD turned 18 before our 2018 Escape trip and Lats Dept. would not honor their own terms yet reply to me. Did online form, sent email, only got auto reply yet no reply. Finally sent a letter to Miami. Received reply that my request sent to guess what, the Lats Dept. I think you can figure out from there that they never contacted me. After Escape trip they finally gave her Platinum but first able to enjoy on Prima. With the recent cutbacks under Sail and Sustain, I don't think they want to hurt carbon footprint with wasting unnecessary bytes and electric to respond to you. Oh yes, plus the 12 month rule.
  5. I've never seen that offered. Current US website does not show it.
  6. If you are asking about the tasting menu, it is very good and portions big. I eat a lot and never left hungry. BC blows Cagney's away especially with even more cuts at NCL. Oh, not sure what you are trying, but the MSC for Me app only works when connected to ship wifi.
  7. Another week, backup again. 12:45 local so a bit early but clearly not figured out. Glad we decided to not book sailing out of San Juan again.
  8. Maybe out there but a quick search not seeing it. On the short 3 or 4 days, is BC or any of the Specialties open for lunch. None of those really have a sea day other than in the afternoon after leaving OC. Thanks.
  9. That does look pretty good. One consistent thing about NCL pizza is how inconsistent it is from ship to ship or trip to trip on same ship. Best we had on NCL, and surprised, was POA. They had a wood fired type oven in buffet. Our last trip on Prima didn't even eat it. Most days about 3/4 inch of crust and not much on top. One day they briefly had a thin crust.
  10. What category? Our DD had one in an OS that was maybe about queen size. As far as other ships, we've experienced plenty of sofa beds and they range from barely bigger than a twin to a king with most about a double.
  11. Maybe they can send some of the Miami staff to do Fountains.
  12. Probably. We would have been toast and missed flight if we had to go back home to get passports. We were traveling a day ahead though. While I'd rather leave them at home, who knows what can happen.
  13. Thanks, that makes sense except we had real ID DLs, AA must have been confused.
  14. That's what I thought but why did AA demand passport?
  15. Good to know, thanks. As far as having to go wait in line first night at CN desk for things is antiqued.
  16. Included. We had three included between offer and lats.
  17. Have not seen buckets for at least seven years.
  18. Please expand. We did a 2016 cruise out of San Juan to NYC and while we had passports, when we checked in at AA with DL AA said they'd only accept passport. Never heard of that.
  19. While Spirit is one of our favorite ships, there is little to do for teens. Maybe let them plan port options.
  20. Sorry about the spill and Happy New Year to all. No need for pin as we are Diamond from get go on MSC using NCL as base. Hope you get some of trip you paid for. Let us know how it goes. Our Feb MSC trip is a b2b with one stop at Nassau and two at OC with a pier. Will be a collective three days on their private island. DB and SIL going and very excited with last trip for them on Gem in 2006 to Med when she was new.
