All this move up talk reminds me of the prior days of Royal C.. On our last cruise with that line, our entire roll call was consuned with talk by D+ cruisers about the "upgrade fairy". At our pre cruise dinner..one if them got the last minute upgrade call and went nutso!. Woo hoo! We were happy Celebrity did not focus on Upgrade Fairies...but now with focus on move up bids X has followed suit except now they make you pay.! We book the cabin we like and are happy to stick with it, but wish everyone good luck. Georgia..let us know if yours comes through!

did you report it? what was done? is it from the A/c system? or bathroom? carpets? we had no issues but good to know

Agree, esp overnight..it creates a serial air issue in the hallway...along with a loud whoosing whistle in other cabins. We had to put a blanket at our cabin door to muffle.. stewards went along the hallway reminding folks to close their doors.. the balcony is a nice spot..but hope all close their cabin door (and don't get locked out!)

great photos! We like this port even if it is sort of artificial like Costa Mayo. There were some nice shops with beautiful handmade clothes, island music, craft items, good rum. We had a nice "local" lunch spot (sorry cannot recall name.) We booked an excursion from Falmouth but it was poorly organized not professional ...long wait fo mini bus so we cancellsd out. Decided not to try again or venture past the Port gates!

my husb is on west coast..up in Venice this week. Alot of rain and wind but rain was needed as we have been in a long period of drought.. The weather outlook overall should improve. He made a tee time for today ( Fri)

Thanks for the review and photos..only you can rate the excursion and port. There did not seem much that would make us desire to visit..the laundry and trash photo kind of a turn off. Not impressed by the look of the "street food," But glad you had your tour!

I see... guess we have been to much easier ports..hope worth it!

that's what we do if flying.. much more relaxing..for those who have the time. Even if driving over from the west coast we arrive at our pre cruise hotel a day ahead. Wishing those coming or going..safe travels. Patience!

Hope the tour makes up for the hassles getting off the ship...def didn't run very smoothly Wonder what is the cause or source of multiple Celeb failures?

i recall that the mix in the carafe was sometimes "spicy".. , and as mentioned hit or miss.. Bring ur own small snack bags..

we don't get off at GC anymore ..tendering there is sometimes a chore or bumpy, the time diff is confusing, traffic is congested, and stores are expensive.. many years ago we dubbed it the home of the $25 tee shirt That would probably be a bargain now! we were charged a local sales tax when we booked and dined at a Specialty Rest while overnight in Ssn Francisco...It was a bad surprise!

I will be following with great excitement..we are booked on ASCENT for Jan in AQ Class We have done a few E Class cruises ...EDGE in an SV ( 4 mdrs) and AQ class ( BLU ) and BEYOND Sky Suite (Luminae).with Butler! Hoping you will love it! All anniv and b days are Special..enjoy!

there are apparently now some upcharge items at the EDEN cafe..but only if you want them.. Note: this is a small take out deli/cafe with indoor and outdoor seats..less variety than the big buffet.. Aqua spa cafe also has a lite bkfast and lunch. only extra chg might be smoothies

hope they can move you to a quieter space!

Latest comments by Turkey's Pres have made support of Hamas clear. .Was not aware they were so aligned.. On our cruise, there was no politics and we were treated well..like special guests. Like other ports, they just wanted us to spend money and buy rugs (very hard sell). Seems things have changed!

CELEBRITY SHIPS..esp the newest E Class ships are well suited for an enjoyable cruise....indoors and out; and nice spa experiences. . We also like the S Class ships. Not like the huge crowded mega ships which we do not prefer! Hope S and M Class will be upgraded and well maintained! THE EXPERIENCE.. modern upscale but not stuffy. Hope dining continues to improve..as to food quality and service. The shows on E class are state of the art, , live music entertainment, and lectures are varied and available. STAFF and CREW...Doing ther best to insure guests have a pleasant experience. More are needed in dining, bars and other services. The officers are friendly and appoachable. THE PASSENGERS... well travelled, interesting, friendly and polite (mostly). Not loud and shouty but not over the hill, yet! Most adhere to dress suggestions..and good decorum.

only short laps as stated and only if there is enough space... not really designed for laps, more for dunking and floating around...can do some water exercises. if you go early or late...maybe!

In addition to your booking inclusions, Concierge Class comes with a sep set of benefits.. We booked a Concierge cabin for Silhouette and are still a bit unclear ourselves. Hope someone can be definitive. This list below is from the internet and may be outdated.. so some of these may have been deleted.. Did not know abt any diniig priority booking..so quesion on that.? You do get extra Cap Club points and on some ships the cabin is a bit larger. Used to have priority boarding.. not sure if that is still in place. And I believe there is a Concierge to assist with inquiries. Concierge Amenities Main and specialty restaurant seating time preferences. Exclusive Concierge Class lunch. Sparkling wine upon request. Daily delectable delights. Pillow selection upon request. Use of umbrella and binoculars. Celebrity embossed key holder.

If you booked with X directly, you should have received a booking Confirmation e mail which details your fare, perks, date for final psment etc. if you used a trvl agnt, you can call them for details.

You are lucky Has not been our experience in the big barn in Port Ev.. yes the I-pad thing is easy but the free for all after that is poor! Even the suite boarding was disorderly!

so who will pass holders jump ahead of on line for a low cost? Hope number if passes sold will be limited. Boarding is already complicated other than for Suites/ Zenith guests. Devalues AQ and CC....

As stated: You will Board through suite entrance. They will board through the regular entrance and process. They cannot join you at the Retreat Lounge for drinks, snacks or events, or join you at the outside Retreat Area.. You probably can all eat breakfast in BLU..usually not crowded. Dinner options were covered....

That was one of my points but to some it matters not! Focus there changed shortly after we were lucky enough to visit! It could always switch again..
