    Last time we used Lyft from port to EWR and it was horrible and dirty !!! I actually complained to Lyft about it.

    Making sure (as you know) there is an original cruiser in each room booked if OP is going to make any change before sailing.

    Juneau...Alaskan Fudge Company. Two locations on Franklin St. when we were there this past September. Loved Ketchikan Kandies but they have moved (from their original downtown location) and wasn't close to where we docked with RCI this time.

    Balcony light should be turned off at night when you're not out there.

    A noon flight is just fine. But I tend to self assist in the first group and have private transportation waiting.

    We found it very easy to take a taxi from airport to our hotel.

    Yes...they do. We had one every night in our cabin this past January (most recent) and our six pervious sailings in 2022. There was too much of an uproar about this and RCI has heard from their cruisers. Just ask your cabin steward and one will be your cabin every night.

    Reduced deposit doesn't apply if you book a suite.

    We prefer to sail from San Juan for this itinerary...and have done it several times with RCI.

    No cup holders in our classic 1967 911S or will there ever be. 🤣

    We did the full transit this past October on RCI Serenade from San Pedro Ca. to Tampa Florida and it was just amazing. So glad I booked this the minute the schedule came out and got an OS at a great price. Sailing from our home port meant only a one way flight home from Tampa.

    The Bering Sea Crab tour is open and running...You shouldn't miss out on this amazing tour. A big mistake to do the Lumberjack show with teens.

    We have asked our cabin steward how to handle leaving unopened beverages and was told to leave a note gifting it to them so there is no misunderstanding.

    We just cruised this past September..no weather issues...sales for shopping 70% off. We got very close to Hubbard Glacier.

    We were on Serenade twice last year. A GS (#1052) for Alaska and OS (#1058) for Panama Canal. Serenade is just fine...only thing we didn't like about the GS was the location of the TV. If that is of no concern enjoy this ship. We had extended family in (#1054) and they loved this cabin.

    No need to set up transportation in advance.

    RCI Harmony will dock at Crown Bay. Not only does RCI have a multi-year contract to do so the Oasis class ships can only dock there due to the depth needed. Crown Bay used to be a submarine dock.
