I booked our cruise in Sept. and the SM shore excursions at the same time.

Where is that "WOW" emoji?!?! As a side question are their any cruise line companies who do things like this and have that reputation? I'd be inclined to give them my money. But I realize that for those who spend a large part of the year on cruises that would be quite limiting.

Is it called menudo in Puerto Rico?

Can one grab a quick sandwich (breakfast or lunch) and eat it back by the pool in the lounge chair?

We were 'given' upgrades 2x IIRC to veranda cabins. I think we walked out on them maybe twice. Just do a thing for us.

Love it! Many years ago in San Francisco we went to a little Mexican that I read had birria de chivo. The cute, little lady there kept saying it was lamb. But when we cleaned our plates I ask "cabrito?" "Si." And a huge smile. At least one gringa gained some respect that day 🙂

This place the menudo was made only by the wife of the couple who had owned the place for decades. If she wasn't available to make it, then it wasn't served.

I have looked and will continue to look as this isn't the article. But here's one in Australia where passengers showed up and denied boarding because the ship was oversold. I recently read an article where this happened, I'm almost positive, in Europe and I believe there were 11 passengers who had flown in from other places...and there they stood. We were in the GTY position and I'd rarely been more relieved than when we got assigned cabins. So, yes, it can happen.

We had a favorite place near Lake Tahoe where they put hominy in their menudo. Perfect! And, hey, maybe if they had some Mexican Sunday ports 🙂

And have a bowl of menudo for next morning's breakfast!
