  1. I was pretty sure I remembered such a thing. I'm having some mobility issues that hopefully will be resolved by July but....
  2. As far as I can tell, the first page of this attachment is the wines by the glass menu which is for Simply More and all other by the glass options...without some kind of upgrade. Works just fine for us but I understand that we're not oenophiles. https://www.oceaniacruises.com/sites/default/files/2023-01/Oceania-Wine-list.pdf
  3. Depending on the depth of the outlet those work great. We were lucky to have the Drake Lake not the Drake Shake in both directions.
  4. I may be misunderstanding here but we have what I think would be called "multi segment" and because of Simply More I've booked excursions on both segments.
  5. We seem to be having that issue. Shall I just stop reply to you?
  6. So are people not wearing masks in places like a theater? Some people will never learn.
  7. That's too funny! Cole slaw??? Oh my. So no chili, slaw dog for you. Sadness. Oysters? Oh my. We're in oyster heaven. You know, don't you, that they're an aphrodisiac? But only the first 11 work 🙂
  8. That's why over the last few years I 'get rid' of those people.
  9. So they just do this and offer no rationale? I'm continuing to get a creepy feeling. I haven't looked at our actual itinerary in ages. Guess I should.
  10. Here's a virtual hugs from the Left Coast 🙂 Keep up the good work. And you do understand, don't you, that you have NO obligation to give private info on any site.
  11. I 100% play it by ear. An anecdote. A few years ago on a cruise there was a man at the next outdoor table in a tee shirt that mentioned a particular medical conference. He had seemed pretty friendly so I asked him he'd been to that conference. I no longer remember the details but he replied and we found we had a quasi-medical subject in common. It was pleasant. But I'm really careful with that. And to whomever mentioned doctors and lawyers I totally agree. I had a physician years ago who said is he's at a social gathering where people know his profession and is asked for a medical opinion, he says it will be necessary for us to step into the next room and for you to remove your clothes....
  12. That always get rave reviews but I pretty actively don't like watermelon. Should I stay away? We actually never ate at Reg Ginger cause we're not really "Asian fusion" food fans. But everyone seems to love it so much.
  13. Right. Their ships are too large. The treaty limits size of about 500 IIRC. I understand that's it's not everyone's cup of tea.
  14. I have asked "what kind of business were you in" if I feel like the person might be okay with that. Notice, I didn't say "what did you do for a living?"
  15. I went through that for just too long. Too far apart for me is just tiring and doesn't accomplish. And, hey, I'm on vacay!
  16. To Antarctica??? We went there on a small ship a few years ago. It was incredible. It was part of a land trip that included Argentinian and Chilean. Began in BA and ended in Santiago, Chilean. Trip of a lifetime.
  17. And the second time will be WAY easier.
  18. They've given you 'permission.' Don't ask again, sweetie.
  19. I'm as "hard left" as one can get and agree with 100%. And if someone tries to do it I will so "no" firmly. If that doesn't work, I'll leave the table.
  20. Absolutely correct. An enormous problem that sure won't be solved here. But, yes. I keep saying that we really need - if going to eat meat - to buy local. We have that but I just cringe over the prices. But, hey, we travel.
  21. 100% correct. And something, when traveling in groups, I had to teach myself. I used to be on a food site that could be SO judgmental. So I learned. An example of 'different strokes.' You won't find me being a "chair hog" cause I loathe the sun.
  22. Maybe book it and THEN tell your parents. BTW I'm 76. Go for it. And report back Please.
