  1. @candycaramel If sailing before Oct 14th the C1 & C2 mini’s (all deck 9?) are reserve and currently use the reserve dining room. After Oct 15 there will no longer be a reserve category. There will be cabins labeled sanctuary mini suite or sanctuary suite (C1 and C2 are not included). It has not been determined yet how the reserve dining room will be used.
  2. Probably. They don’t have tables for 12. We squeezed 10 once years ago but they had to make a special table top. Two tables for 6 in the same section would be the way to go. This would need to be requested on board. There isn’t a way to do it on the app.
  3. @happy2bee When is your cruise? They are changing the dining rooms to include different dining types (i.e. traditional, anytime, reservations) for cruises that sail after mid Sept. (don’t remember exact date). You can’t book these until June 17th. If it’s before that period then you can wait and discuss with a dining room manager on the first day if you continue to have problems. It may be because you are booking for a large group and there are no large tables available in the app. This does not mean you won’t get one once on board.
  4. @Valentina69 You can’t add a cruise into the app yourself. Your bookings will appear automatically in the app anywhere from 2-3 days after you have booked them. if it has been longer than that and the cruise still doesn’t appear when you log in with your id and password, try logging into the app with the booking number. There could be a disconnect with personal information as seems to be happening with @upwarduk.
  5. @stephenSJ The benefit page has said this for as long as I can remember (and that’s a long time lol). It means nothing, What others have said is correct. All charges net against all OBC in your folio. No differentiation.
  6. Hmmm…mine didn’t, it took the date/time and MDR (dining type) and asked me to “save” (of course I didn’t). Did yours tell you it wasn’t an option after that step?
  7. There is a selection for “SD or MDR” when you go to “add reservation” for a particular date/time that is why I was asking them to try it. I have used the SD choice to book crown grill which overrides my night at reserve, but haven’t tried the MDR choice since I don’t have others to dine with. It’s worth a try to see if it works.
  8. @no1superfan I believe you can override the reserve dining, otherwise you would never be able to pre book a specialty restaurant. I think you will need to do each day separately. When you click on dining, pick a date and time, then it will ask you to pick specialty or main dining. You can also, click on the heart to go into your reservations and choose add a reservation, which when done will cancel the existing one. I think from there it will do what you want. I have never followed all the way through (in this new app) so I don’t know where it goes from there. Let us know if it works. Also, at some point there is a little man icon with a + sign in the upper right corner where you can add guest booking numbers.
  9. If you do a mock booking up to the point where it shows the total price it shows the deposit as fully refundable.
  10. When you book online for people without the specialty dining credit they use the credits from the people that do. Since 2 of you had 2 credits each they used all 4 that you had so you haven’t any more. The 2 people who didn’t have the credit owe you a dinner. 😂. You probably can work it out on board, but you won’t be able to book any more specialty dining pre cruise for free.
  11. @wallyj Sorry but this is incorrect. Passengers 1&2 both have to buy the package if one wants it, regardless of age. The underage passenger would get the zero alcohol package but the price would be same to include crew appreciation and wifi. That’s why it was suggested to have both adults in one room.
  12. It is not included as casual dining for plus. It is a pop up and considered Specialty dining. It may be shown like you see it because it does not have its own venue. It shows that way on all ships that offer it. dining-options.pdf
  13. I believe the rule is 6 months from the END of the cruise. See below clipped from Princess FAQ’s Passport validity Many countries require passports be valid for six months after the completion of your travel.
  14. @JamieLogical If you are happy with your room assignment you may want to cancel your bid as you will be moved automatically (unless you will be happier in the room you bid for). You don’t get to refuse an accepted bid.
  15. @IUSteve You said you booked a guaranty cabin, have you even had a cabin assigned yet? All your worry may be for nothing. They could place you in a better place and in a non-accessible cabin (which could be likely). I don’t think anyone will be able to help you change cabins if you don’t even have one yet.
  16. When is your cruise? If it’s after Sept 14th all dining reservations are going to be canceled anyway. Rebooking starts in June. I couldn’t see where you mentioned a date. If your cruise is before then you shouldn’t be having problems, however when Princess starts messing with the app things don’t always go smoothly.
  17. @TRLD This was posted in CanadianBurgers live from in March. It shows the hours.
  18. @Bridget2 You can print one at a kiosk, ask GS to print one or better yet screen print the folio on the app, Why do you need crew running around on the final night delivering paper? Not to mention there are no longer mail boxes outside the door to put it in.
  19. @Mud_Shark Just curious….did you book and dine for the third night during the second 7 day leg?
  20. In my experience your correct muster station does not show up until you board.
  21. What itemized breakdown are you talking about? Is this on your invoice or something you saw on Princess.com. The itemized data list on the princess site always lists the full price of all the benefits had you NOT gotten the plus. It is not what you actually paid. Is this what you mean?
  22. Yes. Google Kaiser senior advantage travel insurance. There is a whole brochure and FAQ’s available.
  23. No planks and steamers pop ups on the Ruby.
  24. If you are looking to make reservations you can’t. There are no reservations for casual dining. Walk up only.
  25. It’s possible that you may be conflating two different dining with cover charges. There is “casual” dining that incurs a $14.99 cover for a 3 course meal and “speciality” dining that has a higher cost but not necessarily limited in the course selection. The chart attached may help. The plus fare package includes 2 free casual meals and the premier fare is unlimited casual and 2 free specialty meals. dining-options 2.pdf
