  1. I’m not booked on a ship that has the crown grill but on my app Sabitini’s is still showing $35 and the Bayou cafe & steakhouse is $39
  2. @suzyed it should be a black sea witch for elite.
  3. @Melbek it shows for me. On the home page scroll down to “view packages”. Or go to profile, then onboard packages. Not sure why yours doesn’t show
  4. You are better off booking a cruise tour that is attached to the cruise (see link to itineraries below). Booking a tour separately imho is too difficult to get the timing right. I believe you went through this sometime last year as well (maybe not you. Lol)? You might want to refer back to that thread because there was a lot of good advice there. https://www.princess.com/cruise-search/cruisetours/
  5. @Iamcruzin You never did have to carry cash because the SD cover charge included a 17% service charge. You were tipping twice.
  6. @deliver42 can you please provide a link to where that is stated? Thanks
  7. @JustAGirl79 Linking was once used for dining when they had traditional so you were assigned the same table. Also, if you have rooms next to each other they usually won’t upgrade you to a different room. One time my sister and I were sailing with our DH’s and because of our linked booking we were “both” upgraded from ocean view side by side cabins to balcony side by sides. I’m not sure what they use if for now but there may be some reasons that help the staff and stewards.
  8. They still won’t be able to book the excursions for all of them on the website as the kids are in a different cabin. You have 2 choices, call and have Princess book the excursion or use 2 devices and sign in with each booking on a different device so you can see them together then book for each simultaneously. It’s only important to get the same “time” booked. Whether you get on the same bus is determined by showing up together at the excursion meeting site onboard and getting the same numbered sticker.
  9. @memoak I was just trying to point out to @Daniel A that it wasn’t just bloggers talking about a new app.
  10. This was in the app store after the last update two weeks ago.
  11. Yes, you are allowed. You should be able to find it in your passage contract for your booking on princess.com.
  12. Fyi…This choice is only active when on board to access dining rooms open times and menus
  13. Make sure you are not choosing “explore dining options” (or something like that), but use the selection that you would use for the MDR. Choose a day and then both the MDR and SD options will show. I don’t have a booking right now so I can’t be specific on what the choices say.
  14. Have you checked to make sure his CC number has not been changed? Are you logging in with his name and password or with your booking #? Could your cruise be booked under the wrong CC #. Just some places to check.
  15. That was the one I couldn’t think of and yes they are (were) yummy!
  16. Various items, an almond, jalapeño, blue cheese. I think there may have been another one but that’s what I remember,
  17. That has not been my experience. Unused refundable OBC will be returned by check in about 4-6 weeks after the cruise. The envelope will say “bottomline technologies” not Princess so look out for it. It is true that you can get less than $25 from GS.
  18. PVP faq’s Q: What if I want to cancel my PVP coverage? How does that work? A: PVP is refundable until final payment is due. For new bookings made within final payment, the PVP plan cost is only refundable within 10 days of purchase provided the person hasn't departed on the trip nor filed a claim.
  19. Australian cruises that have AUD as the onboard currency. It’s not new.
  20. @Cruise Raider In addition to what @Abercrombie2019 says above if you drill down to a couple of the menus only the casual dining shows the addition of the 18% in the fine print on the last page. The SD menus do not. The service charge for those has always been built in to the cost. It’s possible that the 18% is just new for the casual and not the SD. I can’t remember if that verbiage has always been there. We will have to wait for reports onboard of what is actually happening. menu-sabatinis-trattoria.pdf.coredownload.inline.pdf Salty-Dog-Menu.pdf.coredownload.inline.pdf
  21. @Rick&Jeannie This suggestion may not help but I have comcast and I have my email set up as an IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) account instead of POP3. I don’t have any problems with emails on board. Of course IMAP does not clear your email from the server so you have to go in and delete them separately but it’s worth a try if you’re using POP. I have always had IMAP set up because we access email using different devices. I use Apple devices also, so that may be the reason, but I don’t see why it would make a difference.
  22. @doghogThey actually are not, even though that is the name they have. They are balconies and use to not have any furniture out there. Not sure it’s the same now.
  23. When we did around South America they had them almost the entire trip BA to LA. No big deal. They are not required to go ashore and no need for them onboard. They give you a receipt which you turn in when you get them back. If they are required ashore as with the excursion to Machu Picchu they will give them to you.
