FTTF is 100% profit for Carnival, so you totally can't blame them. Some of the pricing is outrageous. I purchased it a couple of times until the one year I decided not to. Never brought it again as my sister who had it got on 20 minutes later than me. Now I don't need it. I hope the rooms will start to be ready when you board rather than just having people drop off bags but still have to wait till 1:30. If the crew is now fully staffed and all this priority boarding is back, then what is the problem allowing room access?🙄

People will just complain. Everyone said the Vista was too plain. I thought it was just fine. Tailored down from the gaudiness of the Fantasy Class ships, of which I've sailed many times. Ditto for Magic and Dream. I don't miss the glass elevators, or the tablecloths, or any of that stuff. It was nice to have but times change. The Venezia is beautiful IMO as is. And I really hope they don't make too many changes either with the decor, the layout, or the food. Yes I love Guys Burgers. My kids will miss it on this cruise. But they've sailed a dozen other times with it and will quickly adapt to it not being there if it's not. As for waterworks, as you said, yes there already is Costa's version of one. And a ropes course.

I understand completely everything you're saying. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised when the cabins are reassigned. We were already booked in a 4J on the Magic and was planning to book a second room for the kids. Of course never got around to it. Now the 4Js on this one are not showing up. Hopefully they will after next week. Fingers crossed for everyone!🤗

What aesthetics are you referring to? The only thing I am not a fan of is that Gondola in the middle of the dining room. But other people seem to think it's cool. That's minor IMO and me just nit picking. In the end I don't care lol. I have been looking at the cabins and those are really nice. I hope they keep them as is. I agree with you on that.

Ships move around all of the time and it's often not foreseen two years ahead of time, which is how far itineraries can go out. I've been caught up in 3 ship changes. There is nothing you can do. That's why it's in the contract. If you book early, you can definitely be impacted.

On the Venezia, those rooms are categorized as premium oceanviews (category EP).

There are a few different cabin types on Magic that's not on Venezia. There's a few of us booked for next summer. Some have spa cabins. A couple have 4Js. There are no 4Js either. Looking at the deck plans, I'm hoping they do not switch us to a regular interior or an oceanview on deck 1. Other than that, I knew this ship was coming to NY and looking forward to the swap. I do wish there was a Guys Burger mostly for my teens who make a b-line straight for the place as soon as we board!

I agree. Chichen Itza or Meridia. If I ever decide to book a cruise that stops in Progresso, we will definitely do one of these two. Probably Chichen Itza.

You definitely needed to at least be booked before now. I believe the latest extension was May, 2021 as the poster said above. A relative of mine lost out too. I tried to tell her she would.

I paid $15 for it on MG and would pay $19 on Celebration. It was fun. And worth it. It remains optional.

I tried to get a price adjustment on a cruise we booked just a few weeks ago. The price dropped with the same promo by $90. The lady told me they don't do price adjustments. Final payment is months away.

That person said they had never been promised to be ready when you board, not since the restart. So the word never was incorrect. Cause they had been before the shutdown. I really fail to see the point of them supposedly bringing back priority when they have been saying all along that you could go to your cabin and drop things off, then leave anyway. This "news" is the same difference. I never liked the idea of going in the room to drop things off. It's just being in the way IMO. Either I can go to my cabin as soon as I board (regardless of time) or not. Not to mention there's conveniently zero mention of plats/diamonds being able to use the lounge again.

If you wanted a balcony, why not just choose one from the start. That's what we did although we just booked. And the oceanview and balcony were both the same price - only the balcony included $100 obc notation at the top. Now unfortunately, you'll have to pay to move to a balcony. I would stay put for a short cruise.

Hi everyone. I'm seeing that you need to reserve time for bowling on MSC. Where do you do this? At guest services or do you use an app onboard? What else do you need to make reservations for in terms of the games that are charged against your fun pass credit? Has anyone used it on the Seaside? Travelling with two teens - hence all the questions. Thanks!
