Do you ever find yourself in certain moments, not interested in all the activities,for pay options, ect offered on the ship?

 

Do you find yourself momentarily bored?

 

What do you do when this happens to you?

 

Is it a sign that you have chosen a ship/cruiseline that is not suited for what interests you?

It's hard to say.

 

We have never been bored on a cruise before.

The bulk of the on board activities are very similar on all of the lines from water coloring to scrapbooking, board games, to Bingo, dance lessons to Pub Trivia.

 

Go out to the pool and watch the Belly Flop contest or if you're cruising with Carnival you can catch the coveted Hairy Legs Contest.

 

We have never been bored on a ship. I am so excited every morning waking up aboard an ocean liner. If none of the planned activities is appealing, curl up on deck with a good book, watch the waves, watch the people strolling around the promenade deck, have a snooze, catch the afternoon film...relax you're on vacation. ;)

I have never been bored on a ship and that is even though most of our cruises have lots of sea days. Watching or participating in ship activities, gambling, reading, sunning, walking, exercising, chatting with other passengers -- there's always so much to do that I never get bored.

Never has happened to me as I don't rely on the ships activities to keep me entertained.

Never take part in any of the activities and have never been bored. Sitting on the Promenade deck watching the ocean roll by keeps me entertained for hours.

I certainly have found myself uninterested in the various activities and classes available on the ship.....I've spent most of my cruises like that, but I'm not bored, I'm at peace and relaxed.

Yes to the first - not interested in any ship's activities. No to the second - not bored. I do a lot of reading on holiday.

We are 'self-entertainers' and don't need the ship or anyone else to amuse us constantly. We rarely join in trivia, bingo, pool games or the like. We much prefer doing our own thing, when and how we wish.

 

We do not get bored on cruises. :)

I journal all our cruises so most of the down time for me is getting caught up with my journal. And on the occasion where I'm caught up with the journal, I love photography, so I'm snapping away with the camera.:)

We seldom do any of the classes or activities but don't get bored at all. We do just what we like, which during the day is mostly a nice long walk and then relaxing, do whatever entertainment appeals at night, and just enjoy the sea.

 

I don't think I've ever been bored, just very, very relaxed.

Sometimes I have to decide among three choices of activities at times:), but these aren't the "Pay for" type. I guess you're talking about going to the casino or playing bingo -- not interested in those. But have trivia matches or a good band playing on the deck, and I'm happy. If there isn't anything going on or a movie I want to watch, I'm happy with one of the books or puzzle magazines I've brought.

 

Not interested in watching the silly hairy legs or stuff the bikini with ping pong balls pool games that are featured on a couple of cruise lines.

Gosh, we're retired and can read anytime we wish at home so need some other entertaining options on ships on AtSea days.

If you're seriously bored then the ship you are on is probably not for you.

I've never been bored but I can easily spend time browsing in a shop or people watching. I've found there's almost always something going on somewhere, but I'm pretty good at entertaining myself too.

I'm always a bit surprised when I find a ship-planned "activity" that I want to do. I don't cruise to "DO" but to "SEE" (new ports) and to "BE" -- watch the sea roll by!
