El Cheapo Cruises Thread

My sister and BIL had a holiday booked to NZ last year then my brother decided to get married. It cost her a few thousand to change the booking. My brother only gave everyone just over 2 months notice.

Absolute Bargain...HOT HOT HOT

Join P&O Pacific Jewel as she relocates from Sydney to Auckland departing 28th August 2017 for 4 Nights!

LIMITED AVAILIBILITY! BE QUICK FOR THESE RATES!

You would need to check fares with a local TA , but for NZ its from $NZ 64 a night . They will probably all be gone by lunchtime.

All you would need to go with it is a cheap Trans Tasman flight..

If anyone can find this deal. Jetstar has cheap flights back.Sent from my iPad using Forums

There are amazing deals on Trans Tasman flights at the moment. Wonder if they will still be around in the cruising season?

Doubt it , even with the increased capacity from the Asian flights that are crossing the Tasman now.

That's a coincidence - we're booked on the reverse relocation cruise (more expensive) in April before this one. MSC send a ship to South Africa each year for the southern summer. Although MSC is not our favorite cruise line, it does give us a chance to explore SA before the cruise.

The October cruise was originally from AU$ 2499 less 5% loyalty discount & AU$150 seniors discount which you may still get.

Also they now Status Match with any other cruise line - our Elite on Princess becomes their top level but with not as many perks.

Do the Asian flights fly from Sydney or Brisbane to NZ?

Just checked with Royal. Needed some USD at a good rate and some minimum spend to get some Credit card bonus points. OBC is usually my go to method and Royal have always been a few ticks above the going rate. Still 77c which is what the rate was when the AUD was around 70c.Hope they review soon.

I know how you feel, but I wouldn't hold your breath as they were slow to drop the rate so are totally unlikely to up it.
