See my first post in the thread; if RCI is going to communicate a package of benefits, they should provide them, or update their communications to reflect what is accurate. I don't think it is hard to agree on that.

I personally hate smoking and 2nd hand smoke. I generally only play a couple of types of table games, not poker or slots. I attempt to find a spot away from a smoker. If the smoke is bad, I leave.

 

I think the cruise lines have made an attempt to clean out the air as quickly as possible in the casino. Maybe it is because of less and less smokers. It the days of past, I remember the clouds of smoke in the casinos. I would hope one day it would be banned from the casinos. I just don't think it is as bad as it used to be.

 

I hate more a smoker on the balcony next or above/below us, no smoking in rooms or balconies. They break the rules and should walk the plank!

 

Too much smoke, I find something else to do.

On Vision Class ships the smoke from the casino ruins the air around the Centrum, especially the GR desk. On a TA when it is open daily it was intolerable.

Why do so many want to get to Suite lounge without booking a Suite. I don't get it. I personally like the less people and faster service. The more people, the slower the service. I just don't get it....

 

I thought they were going to a DL (we are D's too but have never gone to either lounge yet) ....

signature? You list just four cruises in the C&A program, with three of them being the short 3/4

night cruises. Takes most of us a bit more line up to make D than that. How did you make it

so fast on four cruises? What is your secret?

Well if they were all pre conversion and in a suite that would be 56 ;)

 

He does say that the signature thing is new, though.

How do you qualify for Club Royale rates if you don't spend much time in the casino? I was under the impression you had to play for hours every day to get rated. This is a legitimate question, not an offhand remark.

I'll remember that... I generally don't play too much poker. The other players at the table often take it too serious. I just like to have a good time. My play on the other games does not affect the others.

We see all kinds of differences on different ships. We have seen differences on the same ship ( maybe a few months apart) when there has been a hotel director change.

 

We have occasionally seen changes from sailing to sailing on a B2B on the same ship!

So you DO care about status after all. Hmmm....;) :p

 

Room in what lounge? I think there are more than enough lounges all over the ship

to be able to use our 3 drink per night vouchers. :D

The cartoon is of Vicki Freed, VP of sales. It served it's purpose, I should probably replace it.

 

The old signature had a line for every past cruise, it was big. Changed it when the Coming Up section got to big.
