Good morning from the Caribbean Princess. It is 0730 local time. Today is our last full sea day as we sail towards Boston. The weather is noticeably warmer and actually a little humid. My guess is the pool areas will be more used today because of the better weather. A slight correction to something I advised earlier regarding the Calypso pool. Earlier I had mentioned that it was being worked on but was since refilled. This is incorrect. The work involved repainting the pool with the Princess logo. As of yesterday, the pool was still unfilled.

Today, we plan on enjoying Sabatini's for breakfast at 0900. After that, I plan on bringing out the suitcases and begin packing. We recieved our disembarkation tags last night:(. A little later after that I'lll hit the gym for a cardio workout. DW has a hair appointment later this afternoon. Tonight is the last scheduled formal night. We will be skipping it because we are having our Ultimate Balcony dinner this evening. This will be the first formal night in a long time I won't be getting dressed up in my tux.

I always become a little melencoloy towards the end of the cruise. The realization that this wonderful voyage is nearing the end is always a little sad. My usual end of the cruise doldrums were somewhat slightened as I had a very very lucky run in the casino yesterday:).

That's all for now. Hope all are well.....:):):)

Bob, sad to hear your cruise is coming to a end, but it sure looks like you had a great time. Thanks for keeping us updated on your journey, really enjoyed the coverage. I'm excited as we will be boarding the Caribbean Princess this Thursday in New York for a 10 day Canada/New England cruise. Thanks again!

Cheers - Ken & Darlene

Good evening all from the Caribbean Princess. DW and I just finished our UBD. It was out of this world good. Excellent foor and outstanding service made it a very enjoyable evening.

Had a wonderful day at sea today. Started the day off with taking a bunch of pictures around the ship. After that, I got a good cardio workout in at the gym. After that, I hung out till DW and I met up with some friends at the Elite/Suite cocktail hour. We had a great time meeting with our roll call friends. Didn't get any packing done today; oh well:D.

Short post tonight. Kinda tired.

Take Care All.....:):):)

Good afternoon from the Caribbean Princess. DW and I got back onboard a little while ago after a wonderful Princess based shore excursion to Salem. We also had a tour of Boston before we headed to Salem. While at Salem, we had lunch at the last surviving Victoria Station restaurant. All in all it was a great day. The only negative I saw was at the beginning of the day. We had to do immigration in Boston, which consisted of a US immigration agent looking at our passport. Afterwhich we had to make our way to the theater. The shore ex staff, IMHO, was very organized. One female crew member however was condescending, aloof, and down right rude. The female crew member, if it were my cruise line, would be fired. Other than this isolated incident, it was a great day.

All aboard is 1830 with sailaway at 1900. Right now as you can see in the above picture, the Regatta and Summit are docked next to us.

Take Care.....:):):)

It looks like a beautiful day there Bob. Glad you enjoyed the tour.

If you have the name of the crew member who was so rude, you can give comments about her on your survey. Or perhaps, a comment card to the Passenger Services desk before you leave the ship. She definitely should be reprimanded for her behavior.

Good evening from the Caribbean Princess. We left Boston on time and are now headed towards New York. I must say that the Boston skyline makes sailaway truly special. We have our last full day onboard tomorrow. A lot of it unfortunately will be spent packing(:. I still have some internet minutes left so I will be posting tomorrow. I've really enjoyed taking everyone along on our journey.

Take Care.....:):):)

Good morning from the Caribbean Princess. Well here it is. Our last day aboard this wonderful ship in the best cabin I've ever booked. I must say that DW & I have thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and our wonderful stateroom. Now comes the realization that tomorrow we'll be disembarking to let somone enjoy this wonderful stateroom.

As far as today goes, We'll be enjoying Sabatini's breakfast for the last time. After that, it's all about packing. My hopes are we get it done somewhat early so we can enjoy our last relaxing evening aboard the CB.

The above pictures were from our Ultimte balcony Dinner that we enjoyed day before yesterday. It was, as I stated earlier an incredible experience. As far as the rest of my pictures go, I will be uploading them, along with all of the patters/port guides when we get home. I've spent some time onboard categorizing/touching up pictures so it shouldn't take much time to upload them to my Flickr page when I get home. The only thing that will take a little time is scanning the patters and port guides.

I've really enjoyed taking everyone along on our wonderful voyage. My hope is that everyone found my posts both informative and entertaining. I really enjoy doing Live From threads. My next one will come when we decide which of the two bookings we have open, we will actually be sailing. Can't do both unfortunately due to work commitments.

That's all for now. I might pop in for a quick post or two later on today or tomorrow.

Take Care.....:):):)

Bob: Thanks for letting us stow away on your voyage. It's been a wonderful vicarious trip. Hopefully this thread can be used to quell the inevitable questions about the condition of the Caribbean Princess by all those who insist that they keep hearing negative things about her. Those people must not be reading all the threads here, and certainly not the ones from people who speak from a position of experience such as yourself. Again, thanks for whetting my appetite for my upcoming cruise on CB!
