memoak Posted October 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2017 Does anyone have experience with having a full suite which gives you breakfast at Sabatini's with mimosa's or drinks given to you by the casino host if you have the AIBP. Do those drinks count against your 15 drink limit for the day ? I am guessing not since they will not be swiping your cruise card but wondered if anyone has direct experience with this
neverbeenhere Posted October 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2017 Along the same lines of inquiring minds want to know? Want percentage of passengers are actually running up against the 15 drinks maximum?
Steelers36 Posted October 27, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 27, 2017 If you are comp'd a drink in the casino, how could it possibly count as the only way to count is by charges on your account? BTW, you don't have to be in a suite to get an occasional comp drink in the casino - just be a player.

Working 2 Cruise Posted October 28, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 28, 2017 In my 12 cruises with Princess, I've never had a free drink in the casino, and I do some gambling on every cruise!

I've been on 18 cruises (11 in a row on Princes) and I would say I gamble a fair amount on each cruise. In all my cruises I've only been comped one drink (Pacific Princess May 2017).....:(:(:( Bob

reedprincess Posted October 28, 2017 #10 Share Posted October 28, 2017 We've been comped drinks in the casino on multiple occasions.. Not that hard to do really... And yes, we've hit the 15 drink limit since it was put in place. Twice already on this recent sailing. No I'll affects, no hangover, absolutely remember our entire day and night, etc.. Fortunately, we have bartenders who look after us, so we haven't had to purchase extra drinks. Yet. All good. 7 sea days coming up, with 6 time changes. I have no doubt we'll hit the 15 many a time in the next week....
elfinmagic Posted October 28, 2017 #11 Share Posted October 28, 2017 If you (one person) consumes 15 drinks a day that equals 22.5 ounces of booze which would put you over the legal driving limit - good thing they don,t let you on the bridge

compozer Posted October 29, 2017 #13 Share Posted October 29, 2017 No one needs to drink 15 alcohol drinks a day. We always book suites and when we have the drink package, have never been charged at Sabitini's

If it is closer to 2oz it's closer to 30oz for the day. That's 2X a big day in my book. That's more than an entire bottle of scotch (750ml = 25oz). :whiskey-glass: :whiskey-glass: :whiskey-glass: :whiskey-glass: :whiskey-glass: :whiskey-glass:

We usually frequent the casino but would not consider ourselves to be high rollers by any means. Still were given drinks by the casino host from time to time.
