Miami airport to Port Everglades and return

We are flying into Miami airport and sailing out of Port Everglades in March. What is the best means of transport to and from the port please.

Pvt car service best way to go....they know the ins and outs of traffic, roadways etc.

Uber...they tend to have better prices. I used Uber from Orlando airport to hotel....it was a a little difficult..Uber was not getting my signal...went to a higher level and it worked fine!

We just completed the opposite ... sailed out of Miami but flew in and out of FLL. After a lot of research, we found Uber was the most efficient for the price we paid.

Please know that best means different things to different people.

Agree based on personal experience with Uber between FLL and POM. Note that from the port to the airport you can pre-reserve your transfer. For the airport to the port it is the standard call for service, which in our case was only a 5 minute wait as there are a lot of drivers serving that area. The trip is about 45 minutes.

We use Uber (less than $40) because we prefer having our own private car/driver versus sharing a larger shuttle van. Uber will take you door to door with no stops for other passengers...which we find a big plus. If you have never used Uber you do need to set up an account and have a working smartphone with the Uber App.

No, flying in the da6 before and staying at one of the airport hotels.

From the reply’s it seems Uber is the best option. Having never used Uber before can you confirm they are reliable. We don’t want to be stuck at the hotel with no ride available.

We have always used Larrys limos . They are reliable and you get a fixed price quoted when you book via their website. I would be interested to know if the Uber app works on a UK phone and at what cost.

Just used Lyft 10 days ago and it ran us $35 one way and $ 40 other direction plus tip. Price difference was location returning !
