true. But it's closed for Captain's Club events quite often, making it off limits a lot of the time to some paying passengers.

Not often. 2 hrs or so a day, if there is a smallish Elite crowd aboard and they use the lounge; a couple of 45min/1hr Capt social for all CC, which is everyone who has cruised at least once. And the CC crowd are paying passengers too.

Sky lounge is only closed to CC events from 5-7. Personally I don't care where they put the suite area. Anyone who cares to can book a suite if they desire one and it's in their budget. I don't resent that those who pay more get more. I don't understand why so many seem to resent it. The ships are big enough these days that I never feel deprived of space. Sometimes I think people dwell on what they can't have rather than enjoy what they have.
