Thanks for that information, we are on the Majestic in November and were wondering if there were going to be any changes. It looks good. Do you know if there will be any other changes? as there have been many comments as to whether the current set-up will suit the Aussie market.

Usually like Crooners a lot...but definitely don't like the layout of the table and chairs in a row like that

Certainly an easy change, as bar was already their......but rather a closed in location and at times guests from the theater will be exiting thru it in mass, however, a much easier redo then the karaoke suites...Have they have dropped that idea?

Was on Majestic last, and if my memory is correct, behind the Bartender are the doors that open to the casino.

 

Where will the piano be?

I was on 49 day maiden voyage of the Majestic. The room was not used by anyone, except a great place to get immediate service at the bar. The thought was that since it was made for Chinese market and they would be high rollers. Tokens were 10,000US$s. Either they didn’t use it or it is a temporary fix for Southern sailings. Mike

If they are modifying the Majestic by adding Crooner's lets hope Princess keeps a Crooner's for the Sky.

Really they just reinstated Club 6 with a different layout and renamed it Crooners. The layout of these ships is still horrible!

Glad to hear that the Majestic is getting a Crooners, and hopefully the next new ships will have one also. That's a fun place to relax, especially after a busy day ashore. :)JMO -- EBC

The doors are on either side of the bar. Frankly I believe this is just a temporary change for the Winter Southern market and will revert when it returns to China for high rollers. Mike

Perhaps if there is a piano it's at the other end of the room, i.e. where the dance floor in Club 6 is. Hopefully we'll find out on the live from a CC member is posting on the Australia/New Zealand forum.

There is an excellent live thread on the Australia and New Zealand site from cheznandy who are sailing from Shanghai to Sydney.

They are giving excellent detail on the ship, entertainment etc.
