MS Nieuw Amsterdam and Zuiderdam in Port Everglades and MS Rotterdam in Tampa

I don't want to step on Scrapnana's or Boytjie's toes but with Cruise Critic having been down overnight I don't think they do a lot of morning posting so here goes.

 

We have Nieuw Amsterdam on a Malt Shop Memories charter 7-day cruise to Grand Turk, San Juan, and St. Kitts.  She came in really early this morning.

 

 

Zuiderdam is 10-day Partial Panama Canal cruise to Half Moon Cay, Aruba, Curacao, the canal, Colon, and Puerto Limon.  She came in later this morning.

Also in port are Anthem of the Seas and Celebrity Reflection (both briefly), Carnival Conquest, and Adventure of the Seas.

 

In Tampa the Rotterdam leaves at 5 for a 14-night Southern Caribbean cruise to San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Johns, St. Lucia, Aruba, Curacao, and Grand Cayman.  Also in port are NCL Pearl and Carnival Miracle.

Looking at the Port Schedule, it looks like all the HAL ships are leaving at 5 PM.  That seems to be happening all the time this year.

 

Guess I won't be seeing too many sail aways are hearing those whistles toot.

I tried to get on last night and couldn't. 

 

I will not be here today - we have a college volleyball match - locally - at 4 pm, so I will miss everything - except the vb. Enjoy the long toots from Zuidy.

 

I will also miss sailaway of Rotterdam from Key West tomorrow - but hope to be here for sail-in.

I wondered why Reflection was coming in for a short while.  I hope it was not anything too drastically wrong with the person since their previous port had been last Sunday (she was doing a TA repositioning cruise).

 

I am confused as to where she is going.  She is supposed to be in FLL tomorrow.  Think she is just going to make circles out at sea?????

I'm a bit puzzled by that too.  You would think if it was a genuine emergency she would have stopped somewhere like the Bahamas to discharge the person.  They are apparently on a cruise to nowhere today.
