Loving all the pictures and info. I’ll be sailing on NS on a b2b after the New Year.

I adore the HA piano bars but haven’t experienced the dueling pianos. Love to hear your opinion.

I like the dueling piano bar from the Koningsdam well enough but I haven’t yet heard the pianists on this ship, as I’ve been going to sleep really early - my sleep

cycle is all screwed up. But I’ve got 10+ days to get straightened out!!

A little bit sad that the tomato lemongrass bisque and lemon brulee are gone but looking forward to new items.

Had a good day in Malaga too. It was my second time. First time I went out to Granada and the Alhambra. Today I walked into town and visited the cathedral, Picasso museum, had a sangria at an outdoor cafe, went to the Alcazaba and then walked through the Christmas markets on the way back to the ship. We had fantastic weather !

Jacqui I don’t ever remember seeing roasted beets yum on the menu. !!!

Yes the beets are new. No more brussel

sprouts. And I too will miss that lemongrass soup. It was my favorite.

We've been to the piano bar twice and it's awesome and totally packed.  We are also really enjoying the quintet on the Lincoln Center Stage.  Last night's Main Stage flautist was really good!

 

My sleep cycle is also out of whack!

B.B. Kings appear to be doing their late/last set at 11:30 PM, you know when the "vast majority of HAL pax are fast asleep, and the entire ship has been dead since 9:00 PM!"

On Koningsdam there was a small buffet with Fingerfood in the Billboard Lounge, l believe.

Does Nieuw Statendam feature it as well in one of the lounges?

I know the layout is slightly different regarding the bars.

The billboard has a self serve appetizer buffet for happy hour. It looks smaller

than on the Koningsdam but maybe that’s due to the placement of it here.

I am happy about the beets!  I am very very sad that the raspberry cheesecake is gone.  But what is that globby thing on the steak?!   😭

The globby thing on the steak are two lobster filled dumplings. They were yummy.
