Here’s the bar/coffee bar. Actually I need to get a better picture. It’s smaller than the original bar and coffee bar. And there’s bar stools but only on one side. Kinda weird!

HAL club is great. They have it split into 3 groups. And 3 separate rooms. 3-6. 7-12. 13-17. They have 15 kids on board this cruise!!

No Christmas decorations yet. Only Hanukkah. And little of that. Im

majorly disappointed. No one even taking photos as we boarded. Unless VIP group didn’t get them.

There are lounging areas above the Lido pool. And then above that, forward, is the Retreat cabanas. The Retreat you have to pay for and reserve.

Following along and thank you for the great photos!  I'm disappointed that HAL did not include a dining height table and chairs within the Retreat Cabanas, as in the original RC's on the Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, etc.  A major disappointment on the Koningsdam, and I was hoping that MAYBE they might revert back to the original layout so that you can have lunch within your RC, but not at knee level!  Drat.

Finally got my internet organized.  Evidently the night auditor will give us our discount.  Sherita has posted some great photos of the ship.  We just had a little video from the Captain and a talk from Mr. Ashford.

We had lunch in the dining room.  It was well attended, but you do feel you are in the belly of the whale!

We just pushed away very quietly at 6:15.  While waiting I took this picture of the new terminal building.  It is quite nice, and everything went very smoothly for embarkation.  And we didn’t have to have our pictures taken as our ones on file were satisfactory- I guess we haven’t aged too much!

The Belly of the whale is a good analogy, and I do like the colors, and it does resemble the ribs of a whale😳 great pictures.

Yes. I saw this after dinner. It wasn’t set up earlier today when I was wandering around taking photos. 

 

I hope they’ll put up some more decorations. 

 

Caught a few minutes of the debut of Rolling Stones Rock venue. They were great and had a big crowd. I took a short video of them.
