Allure Live, January 27 to February 3. - Where my Beaches At?

The sign says it all. It’s about freakin time.  Let’s get back to the ship. 

 

 

 

Owen is staying home with Grandma Sharon, and Lucy.  They all looked happy, until they heard they weren’t joining us.  Lucy was ready to swat anybody/somebody.  Two pets, then a swat. Sometimes you can sneak in a third.

Lucy’s food supply is stocked up. Right now she’s skipping the middle man.  Soon Owen will be a teen and he will eat the same way, strap the bag to his face.  Some around here on CC, but not me, say this is how people eat in the Windjammer.

 

 

 

 

A happy Lucy. She really gets a cup a day and the bag is stored in the washroom.  She’d never mouse if it was out all the time. For those who wonder she has a bed of shavings in the barn and a heated water bowl. And that brings about the next topic, the weather.

Weather here is miserable.  Looks like we picked a good week to be away.

Lisa’s and my bags are packed. Stormtrooper is almost loaded.  We leave for the Toronto airport shortly, like 60 minutes shortly.  Miami is on our horizon. 

 

More to come.  That is unless Cruise Critic craps out, like it has every weekend as of late since that wonder “upgrade” and loss of the App. Hopefully there are enough readers and followers still here, to make it worth my while. No promises though if the review will be good enough or be worthy of your while. 

 

Preamble is over, and the adventure is soon about to begin.

Yay! Got my coffee and settled in. Chilly in Florida this morning, but NOTHING like your temps. And will be downright reasonable by this afternoon. Looks like a drizzle down south, but not too bad. Here's hoping for a great sailaway!!

Yay, another great review to follow! Following from a town in Australia that topped out at 48.3 C (or I believe 118 F) on Thursday, the snow photos are almost incomprehensible, I hope you get to enjoy much warmer weather on your cruise!

We’re getting off when you get on. It’s been a great week. Dexter just returned this sailing and he and Junior have been great concierges. Only disappointment is Allure has not yet been approved by CBP for luggage valet in Miami so we’ll have to claim our bags and get them to the airport. Enjoy yoy trip!

Made it to the airport. 

 

A few sights along the way. Can you believe this is how some enjoy their holidays, ice fishing.  I need ice, in a cold drink.

Glad to report that US Customs in Toronto was smooth sailing. Having Global Entry/Nexus sure helps.

LOL, turns out we have cruisers beside us headed to Harmony today. It’s their first time on Harmony and they are excited.
