Yes. Last year we took a Princess TA from Fort Lauderdale to Dover. One of the perks of booking early was the Premier Beverage Package was included at no extra cost.

That would be awesome.  We booked the day it became available to elite's but no perks were offered.  Guess I'll keep watch as long as I don't lose my cabin.

• we had the PBP  added to existing bookings. The sale is called Sip & Sail.  It is usually offered late June to end of August or so.  It is for cruises that are about one year or more away. Must book a balcony or above.

I booked our fall transatlantic cruise last year under the "Come Back New" sale. We got some onboard credit and free gratuities plus reduced price for our EZair flights (under $250 pp for our flights to London and the flight home from NYC).

Yes, they do. My wife and I are on the one this coming Sept out of Warnemunde to New York on the Regal. The price went down something like $1000/person but lost $300/person for a net gain of $700/person. I believe those were the figures. Whatever it was we ended up getting a good deal!

We booked TA that is leaving on 5/3 and got $400 onboard credit, free gratuties, and cabin upgrade. And then being a stockholder, we got an additional $250 onboard credit.

Over the years we've done a number of TAs, but I don't recall promotions we may have received except OBC.  That said, I assume that there are more promotions for TAs because such cruises don't appeal to a lot of potential pax for several reasons:  usually 10 days or more, lot of sea days, no interest in Europe.  Fortunately, for those of us who love TAs, that means more promotions with freebies like Sip 'n Sail, OBC, free gratuities, etc.

I'm booked on the Enchanted 2020 TA, and it's almost sold out already, so when sale time comes around, this sailing wont be included. You can't put on sale, what you don't have to sell. This means no re-faring, no free gratuities, no free obc.

I usually re-fare during the 3 for Free sale, as it's combinable with my casino discount.

I'm not too sure if I'm willing to give up free grats, and obc simply because this is the ship's first time crossing the Atlantic.

Since this is the ship's maiden TA (but not its maiden cruise), it's not surprising that it has drawn a large number of early bookings.  Probably happens with all inaugural cruises on a new ship's different itineraries.  And especially since this ship has a few new features that its sisters don't have.

That's the one I'm on too.  I got a really good price for a window suite ( 710 sq feet!) so I may have to be satisfied with that!  I hadn't taken into account on how well the sailing had sold.

I'm considering the same thing (we are also booked on the Enchanted 2020 TA).  Year 2021 might work just as well.  😊

Yes the Sip and Sail is not compatible with the casino rate - too bad - we have a cruise in October where we originally booked with the Sip and Sail and later change to 3 for free which let us get the casino rate plus free grats and OBC

 

Hate having to pay for drink package on a long cruise but with lots of long sea days (15 day cruise 4 ports) it really is necessary and did save us some money

booked a TA from copenhagen to NY very early.  I have rebooked/refared 6 times since my initial booking, so yes, sales and discounts in fares do occur.

we did 25 day transatlantic last fall.  We got free gratuities,. upgraded cabin and shipboard credit AND the airfare was ridiculously cheap.  We flew San Francisco to London (from London we got our own transportation to Barcelona to catch theship) and then from Fort Lauderdale back to San Francisco for a total of $188. each.

 

In short, after you book it check regularly for discounts, perks etc. and definitely check every so often the flights.  They drop in price at times.   If you can, wait for the 3 free offer usually after August for these things.

I emailed my TA.  Since the price I'm paying is half of what it's going for now, I shouldn't rebook.  There is no way the free perks will come close to the $2500 pp  price difference plus I can't wait to see my suite!
