More ads to your cabin :(

The towel ad was left on your bed. (re-live NCL memories by buying one of their towels...)

im assuming every room got this in their cabin.

on my side of the floor, every room got the ads on their cabin sign so i assume every cabin on the ship got it.

 

First it was Tanzanite, and now they're pushing Zultanite.

I think Zultanite mean "Sucker born every minute."

 

This is on top of all the spa, photo and free cheap booze art auction ads in your Daily.

Not sure if you know it but... "no thanks" goes a long way to indicating  you don't want something.  I love to see what's new and what offers are available but it sure doesn't mean I'm going to purchase anything. 

Some times, we just need to understand that this is a marketing ploy which some ppl will take advantage of.  Nothing wrong with it's presentation at all. 

 

If you don't like it, ignore it!

Seems like there is too much paper waste - I really just ignore it all so I never notice it.

The carbon footprint for those color toner used & printed paper stock ... more eco-friendly than plastic straws, I trust.  They are either recycling them and or burning them as onboard trash, right ?

1st it was an upsell blurb in the Daily.

then it was an upsell insert in the Daily.

then it was multiple upsell inserts in the Daily.

now it's upsell inserts on your cabin sign.

What's next?

 

so you're ok when ncl decides to put poster sized ads on the ceiling above your bed?

hm.. might be good for the husband's sex life:  Wife have a headache? visit the spa and get acupuncture

Heck, last time on Gem we had the cruisenext telemarketer call the room to sell certs.  Did they have a do not call registry that I forgot to sign up for?

on my previous cruise, i was wondering why the phone voicemail light was on. it was due to that phone call

Um...getting people to post the inserts on a public forum so that you can advertise to people who aren't even on the ship??

 

That is, of course, assuming that you could find someone gullible enough to do so . . . 😶

Ads are everywhere even when you are online. Read them or ignore them they will be there.

 try 'adblock plus' to block most online ads. works great in chrome and IE.

Paper ads slipped under the door or in the daily program don't bother me. The Round File (aka garbage can) is always available.

This isn't a flame thing, it's genuine curiosity.  It's clear that you have multiple issues with NCL, but you're still choosing to sail with them.  I'm just wondering why?

Not an ad related complaint but was bummed when my wife told me that NCL contacted us regarding upgrading our drink package. We take Carnival mostly and with their package, bottled water is included. Evidently with NCL it is a $250 per person upgrade for "top shelf" spirits, coffee and bottled water.

 

We took NCL to Alaska last year and don't recall if it was the case then but still bummed. No worries, reusable vacuum water bottles work just as well.

Sounds like you had a great time! Talking to management face to face is the best way to express your concerns, but that’s kinda scary for some. Much easier to go to the internet.

my land casino gives me free ncl cruises.

Use UBlock Origin instead. Smaller, faster works just as well.
