DW unhappy to see Fettucine Alfredo is no longer on Favorites.

Oh no!  I missed that!  Seriously, that is the hubs FAVE!  I do see it on the menu that Dides just posted, but maybe that is specific to just that evening's menu.

Do you know what the offer was before boarding?  This is my dilemma.  Princess is offering $14.99 per day Pre cruise for a 19 day cruise to all customers and they re indicating it is at saving of 50% off for 4 devices, which would total $284.81.  That doesn’t credit elite or platinum free minutes.  I am wondering what the cruise offer would be for that time frame?  Buy now or on the ship?

You want to buy on your first day of the cruise if you have free platinum or elite minutes.

It has been on the Pasta section of the MDR menu on all 4 nights of the cruise thus far ( I notice because Chris has a limited repertoire of dishes he can eat and this is one of them!)

Here's the breakdown......the 1st day loyalty discount is not very big when you compare it to the pre-cruise prices offered to everyone.

Thank you!!!!!  Yes, I was wondering if the Freestyle Coke machines were on board.   I thought I read somewhere that they were going to be on Sky.    Again, I want to thank you for such a wonderful “Live From”.   You’re doing a great job.

As I was walking in my neighborhood this morning I thought of another question about the fitness center.  What time does it open in the morning?

And I have a related question, what are the showers like at the fitness center?  My DH hates doing the shower curtain tango in shower in the standard balcony cabins and he was hoping they have bigger shower stalls at the fitness center.

My wife will be happy to see escargot on the menu which hasn’t been available on our recent cruises.

We haven’t had escargot since our first cruise in 2010.  Is this available for traditional time dining and anytime dining?  Thanks for all the info...6 more weeks till we cruise.

It’s the same menu for traditional & anytime dining & is shown in the Gala menu as a Starter that dides posted.

Day 4 recap.

Chris wasn't feeling up to a sit-down breakfast so at 9:30 I said I would pop up to the buffet - he requested I bring back some plain croissants and a bread roll. I headed to the Pastry Shop and they had some fancy pastries and flavoured breads but nothing plain. I wandered around the hot food section and could find nothing suitable. So I selected a fried egg, some American bacon , a link sausage and a biscuit for myself. Didn't like the sausage flavour and the biscuit was hard as stone. It took a while for the wait staff to offer me a drink but eventually I had some OJ to help me digest the biscuit. I don't drink coffee so can't help on brewed v syrup but did notice the separate mini coffee service counter in the centre of the Pastry Shop.

When I left at 10am I noticed they had cleared out the pastries completely in the Pastry Shop ,- so much for a buffet breakfast service until 11:30am!

On the way back to the cabin I stopped by International Cafe which had the plain croissants. I may have slipped in a couple of custard donuts too.

Today' plan was to stay on the ship and relax as we had been to Corfu before. I was booked into the Lotus Spa at 11am for a mud foot massage treatment. I had developed plantar fasciitis on my right heel a few weeks before the cruise and wanted something to help with the pain.

The massage was pleasant enough but seemed to concentrate more on the legs and my foot didn't feel any better afterwards. Apparently I need a 3 or 4 sessions to get the full benefit and I am not paying out for that. I had already paid extra for a pedicure and was already silly enough to buy some products to help treat myself at home. Doh!

While this was happening Chris took his photo and video tech around the top decks. All the crew were appearing in a big flag waving video production which he managed to film - and might appear in too. One passenger in a hot tub got really into it too!

At 1pm we went up to the Ssnctuary for our afternoon session on a lounger. This was a first for us - just wanted to see what it was like in the new space. We had selected some loungers under white awnings in the hope we would some protection from the sun. We couldn"t have picked worse ones! The sun was beaming directly onto that corner! I let Chris have the one with a bit of shade and we gave it a go.

20191023_131820.thumb.jpg.bc9c9ec5397a9015c3e80681bb0566ad.jpg

It was too much. We ended up putting the white striped towel over us to reflect the sun. We kept getting cold flannels passed to us and the offer of iced water refills but we just aren't sun lovers.

Chris went and sat on the comfy seats for a while and then said he wanted to head back to the cabin for a nap!  Shortly after the lady in charge came over and offered to move me - she very kindly let me use a spare cabana out of the sun. I sat on the sofa to cool down for a bit and then moved out to the lounger. The roof protection is a lot better in this area.

Afternoon tea was served between 3 and 4pm and was fabulous.

I went back to the cabin at 4pm - Chris was sad to have missed the cabana and afternoon tea but was feeling literally under the weather. Sunstroke.

We napped, showered and went for a later meal in Club Class dining. We had some chatty neighbours in the two-top section - also Brits - and had an enjoyable meal.

We chose French Onion Soup and the Smoked Salmon and Crab appetizer

We then stayed to watch a riotous Karaoke session in Princess Live! Chris ordered a lot of cocktails on Ocean Now as it seems to be activated there now and we ended up going to bed around 2am!

That new chocolate Journeys chocolate mocha looks absolutely amazing. I'm excited that they added some new dessert items. After watching a few videos on the sanctuary it looked like not the best well sun protected area, as I'm not much of a sun worshipper myself but like to lounge once in awhile.

the afternoon tea and sanctuary does look lovely as always. It is quite a nice experience to have tea time in the sanctuary compared to in the main dining room or the Royal high tea time or on your balcony. Gotta love all the options.

I can't truly thank you enough for your wonderful blogging you're doing. But I do hope you are both having a fantastic time on your cruise.

Are any of the tables by the window for CC dining?

Yes our two-top was by the window last night. Too dark to see anything at that time though!

I just popped up to the ladies changing area in the Fitness Centre - two showers, one accessible but both a good size

Didn't spot any fitness staff to ask about opening times but a passing crew member said it was open 24 hours a day

I was wrong!!!

ceilidh1 posted a video of the Sky in post 234. They were in a balcony cabin and showed the bathroom. Same pump bottles on the sink area that the suite had.

If you are Elite, you get the same toiletries as suites no matter what cabin you are in.

Have you been to the casino?  Would love to see what kind of slots they have and are they still encouraging all of the smokers to stand around in there?

We aren't casino fans. And yes, I do notice the smoke a lot when we are forced to walk through it.  Popped in there this afternoon to grab you some random pics:
