Concierge 'exclusive(?)': 20% off 1st night specialty dining

im in an Concierge balcony room (c2) and i got this in my room.

thought EVERYONE was eligible for 20% discount on the 1st night?

if so, then MEH!!

You're right, in fact I've seen 30% offered for first night on the website and been offered up to 50% (in Aqua class) on several cruises. It depends on pre-cruise bookings, phases of the moon, mood of the food and beverage managers and other equally baffling differentials.

Booked the 1st night in the Cruise Planner it was 30% off and got our choice of time.

If after boarding, where do you see these deals? In the daily??

Our last cruise we were offered 50% off when boarding for that night. We only book verandas. Our upcoming cruise offers 30% off in the cruise planner...wondering if we should take that or try our luck at 50% being offered again...hmmm

We've only been offered 50% on board. It depends how important the specialty dining is to you.

Sorry, that’s what I meant... book now for 30% off first night or take my chances and hope for 50% off when we board...  we do like to start our cruises with a night in speciality especially to avoid the first night madness in the MDR

Exactly ... I have not prebooked an embarkation dinner based on past Aqua class offer of 50%. We shall see what all the differentials bring.

50%off on tge 1st. night used to be a fairly occurrence.  Once they started offering  30% off on the first in the  Cruise Planner we haven’t seen a 1st night discount.  Boarded the Eclipse yesterday in AQ and no discount offer for the 1st in our cabin, nor we were approached by anyone offering a discount.
