We, too, love Oasis class (and it seems like years since we've been on one) and will board Harmony in May (happy to see that you must like her). Happy Sailing! Thanks for following along! Harmony is an amazing ship, can’t wait to board her a month after getting off Lady Oasis. You’ll have an amazing cruise in May on Lady Harmony! MrFunInTheSun Posted February 16, 2020 Author #52 Share Posted February 16, 2020 Not my dog but can’t have a “Live” trip report without some cute dog pictures in it. 😀 Isn’t Ted cute wearing his giraffe life jacket? 12
MrFunInTheSun Posted February 16, 2020 Author #53 Share Posted February 16, 2020 That happy look your given when you come back from a cruise. We will focus on this happy look. That sad look given before leaving on a cruise is to sad. 🙁 Who sleeps well the night before cruise morning? Asking for a friend... 3

If its early March, she'll be with her sitters and has a better view.
MrFunInTheSun Posted February 16, 2020 Author #59 Share Posted February 16, 2020 It’s now 4:15am and most of you all are still nestled in your beds and have visions of sugar plumbs dancing in your heads... It may not be Christmas morning but it’s Cruise Day, that’s pretty close to Christmas morning when you’re a kid... So here we are... Day Zero and sooooon will be on the road headed for Miami... Maierkai Posted February 16, 2020 #61 Share Posted February 16, 2020 Following along! Very excited to have a LIVE review going so I can live the cruise through the thread. We had to cancel this sailing when I found out I was pregnant and would be past the allowed 24 weeks. So for good reason :D Happy sailing!
Loralie Posted February 16, 2020 #62 Share Posted February 16, 2020 I will be on Oasis in May. We have sailed other RC ships but this will be our first time on an Oasis class ship. We will also have the dining plan so on embarkation day, where would be the best place to use the dining plan for lunch? Have a wonderful trip. I’ll be following along!🚢☀️🏖🌊🍹😀 Loralie

Whoop Whoop! I agree with your Christmas analogy 100%. Even after 35 cruises I still feel like a kid on Christmas morning on day one of a cruise.
MrFunInTheSun Posted February 16, 2020 Author #64 Share Posted February 16, 2020 Parked at port of Miami promptly at 9:30am. Was an uneventful drive to Miami hitting rain showers off and on from Ft Lauderdale to Miami. This mornings sunrise around 6:30 near Ft Myers... First glimpse of the beautiful Lady Oasis Onward to Lady Oasis as we wait for boarding to begin. It is now 9:50am..

Christmas Day to me means work(I don’t celebrate Christmas so I work so that others can take off)

maureencruiser Posted February 16, 2020 #68 Share Posted February 16, 2020 My love! My love! Here I am!! Sadly, sitting on the couch at home. 😳 You're making me feel so bad. You know I'd much rather be with you than slinging prescriptions all day. I'm going to look at that Harmony cruise in March again, see if they've lowered the price for solos. Have a wonderful cruise! Have a (several) Espresso Martini for me. 🤓🤓🤓

They're my favorite, but I can sail MSC or Carnival for 1/4 of the price. I've been wanting to try NCL, perhaps in a studio cabin, they're always solo friendly. MrFunInTheSun Posted February 16, 2020 Author #73 Share Posted February 16, 2020 (edited) My photos that should have been part of the 10:37 post. 😀 Made my dinner reservation as soon as I boarded for the week that I’m sure I’ll change throughout the week. 😀 Once I made a them I headed to the beach pool to meet up with my friends who sailed last week and are sailing this week. Then it was time to zip on over to Portside BBQ for some lunch.... Rooms will be open at 1pm. Edited February 16, 2020 by MrFunInTheSun
MrFunInTheSun Posted February 16, 2020 Author #74 Share Posted February 16, 2020 (edited) Andy will not be with me this cruise. On 12/7 when Maureen and all of us were saying our goodbyes, Maureen was feeling a bit frisky for his six pack so he’s been staying with her ever since. As we know how else can he always keep that smile on his face. 😀 Those new to my live reviews will need to go back and read my old ones to find out about Andy. 😀 Edited February 16, 2020 by MrFunInTheSun 1
