Boytjie Posted April 2, 2020 #2252 Share Posted April 2, 2020 And now the Rotterdam is going the other way! Zaandam at 18 knots and Rotterdam 10 knots.

Just got the results today (13 days later). I'm negative for COVID. Hope you are ok too. Note: the Zaandam has had better tests for COVID than the state of Florida Happy it turned out well for you. It must have been a difficult wait.

I think the article is nothing more than a recap of all the other press releases that we have read over the last few days, so I don't know that it is more accurate. It simply encapsulates into one piece what we all have been reading.

Yes, probably like the Amsterdam in Fremantle, it will take a few days to get everyone sorted and off.

cat shepard Posted April 2, 2020 #2259 Share Posted April 2, 2020 (edited) The Zaandam is definitely closer to the shore. But the pilot boat has reentered the port. Possibly another false alarm. Edited April 2, 2020 by cat shepard

tgg Posted April 2, 2020 #2267 Share Posted April 2, 2020 If you're tired of speculating about ships' positions and flashing lights, perhaps you could turn your thoughts and prayers to our friends Bill and Gloria Weed. They're passengers on the Zaandam. Both have had fever for days. Bill now has pneumonia. He can't swallow, so he hasn't been able to eat for several days. He can't take oral medicine. His daughters hope he can hold on long enough to get treatment. I think Bill and Gloria would be happy to be "dumped" in Florida because that is where they live! Please take a few moments to think about them, confined to their cabin, with no fresh air, and holding on to hope.

AdoraBelle Posted April 2, 2020 #2274 Share Posted April 2, 2020 (edited) Can someone more familiar with PE tell me if we will be able to see the ships on this cam? https://www.ftlauderdalewebcam.com/ Also, am I seeing emergency vehicle lights at far right, center, right of the parking deck? Or is that just sunlight glare? Edited April 2, 2020 by AdoraBelle
