Jim and I disembarked on Monday morning, to the easiest embarkation ever! Face recognition is wonderful! We arrived at the ship at our appointed time (12:30) and were delighted to see there were no long lines. We proceeded to an agent who took our picture, and pictures of our passport and vaccination cards. We were then told to just get onto the ship!! I had the Celebrity app on my phone, and while on the bus to the ship, I completed our mandatory life board drill. Easy peasy, even for someone who is not very savvy (as you all pretty much know by now). This was our third time on the Silhouette; it's always been a pleasure to be on board, but this time was super special, since our last cruise was in November, 2019. Mask wearing was optional, except for in the Casino and Theater, where they asked that it be worn there. The four of us, Jim and our two traveling buddies, wore our mask in the Theater. Some guests had them on also, but not too many. By day two, hardly anyone had one on. I must say, we also stopped wearing them. The entire crew had to wear their masks, many of them wearing two. The Captain said that on the two cruises prior to ours, there was not one person with Covid. Not one crew member or guests. Great news!! About halfway through our cruise, the Captain announced that one guest had come down with Covid. Enough said on that subject. The entire crew, the entertainment, the Celebrity singers, dancers, band, and featured entertainers, were awesome!!!

Because.... my English is much better, I'm more travelled and versed in reading the "small letters", etc. Not to brag, that's what my in-law thinks 😕 . Managed to somehow find 3 with a reasonable rate... ~1000 Euro for a 10 days rental, for now. Will check tomorrow how much all the "extras" will add to the basic insurance provided.... Wow Dani, you are amazing! They are so lucky to have your as their travel agent!!! 47 minutes ago, Momof3gurlz said: We’re halfway through 1883 and I agree with you Greg, this show is a masterpiece. It’s one of the best things I’ve seen on TV. I love Yellowstone and it’s modern day twin, Succession. They both have the family drama formula down pat; a patriarch, a family business, the black sheep, a love story, some sex, lots of dirty deeds and assorted good guys and bad guys. 1883 is just much more than that. Elsa’s narrative is so poignant, I just know the ending can only be heartbreaking. I just hope we don’t have to wait too long for the next installment. I have so much to catch up on!!! Jim and I love 1883; we haven't begun watching Yellowstone yet, as we'd like to see all of 1883 first. 45 minutes ago, Sunshine3601 said: We are on countdown with 11 days left until our b2b. Yay! I cannot wait to see what our Son-Chris and Donna think of their first cruise. We scheduled rapid tests at CVS and figure we will use the free tests and save our emed kits as back up or future use. Yay Debbie! I'm excited for you; especially since Chris and Donna will be cruising with you and Eric on their first Voyage ever!🥰 36 minutes ago, singinalot said: After lunch the bride headed to run errands so my other sister and I strolled through Savannah. meanwhile, her boyfriend, Nate, and our dad were at the range having male bonding time. The Paris Market was a store I could have spent all day in. Crystal, all of the pictures of your sister's Wedding, as well as the pictures of you all spending time together in Savannah are beautiful! Congratulations on a job well done with the Wedding! 4

Luckynana Posted March 10, 2022 #51056 Share Posted March 10, 2022 We had free internet on our cruise; on the first day, I was able to comment on this thread. On the second day, I could read everyone's comments, but could not respond, nor could I sign in. By the third day, I couldn't get on CC at all...so, I am close to 40 pages behind. 🤔 We had beautiful weather, although the last two days were pretty rocky, and that's where my wonderful Sea Bands came in handy. At St. Maarten, we just went to the beach, and shopped a little while there. We will be going to Maho (sp?) Beach for the first time when we return to the Island next month. This time in Barbados, we had a driver take us around the Island, instead of heading to the beach like we normally do. We had trouble understanding most of what he said, but enjoyed the tour nonetheless. In St. Lucia (our first time there) we took a speedboat tour with our tour guide who went by the name of "Queen B" where we first went to see the Pitons. We had a choice to then stay at a quiet resort beach, go to the mud baths, or see the volcano. Two young ladies from London chose the beach, two women chose the mud bath, and five of us chose to see the volcano. We also went to a waterfall after picking up the women at the mud bath, and then we all went to the resort, while the tour guide was generous with rum punch. It turned into a really fun day with everyone. In St. Kitts and Antigua, we just shopped, to help their economy.

The Celebrity entertainers were phenomenal!! 1

Taylor Sheridan the incredible creator and writer has said a few more episodes of 1883 are coming. But fans shouldn't expect an entire season of 10 episodes. Instead, it appears that Paramount will be giving fans a few bonus episodes to move the story forward to 1932. 1932 should air mid 2023 to fall of 2023. 27 minutes ago, Luckynana said: @Sea DogGreg, how are you doing with your knee these days? Therapy has been going good. I’ve even practiced driving with Linda in the car. Unfortunately I’m still struggling get off the pain meds. I’ve at least stopped the Oxycodone but I’m still taking the Tramadol which makes me very drowsy. I tried to quit for two days but felt nauseous and depressed. I get depressed that I’ve had pain and discomfort every day for 4 weeks now. I know the end goal is getting closer and I’m doing well but I’m really tired of hurting. This has been a lot tougher than I thought to deal with mentally. I am hanging in there. Thank you for asking and your concern Maryann. 17

I was still trying to work before my first hip replacement. The doctor was trying various pain meds. Finally settled on Tramadol, it took care of the pain, I felt fine and drove all over the county. I thought it was great. It wasn't until I was at the pre-surgical, that they mentioned you can't drive on it. (Or aren't supposed to) and that it a synthetic opioid. Ooops! It was one of the few medications that didn't make me sleepy. When I asked my doctor, he shrugged and said, you seemed fine on it. There are not a lot of injuries where you can give someone immediate relief. That sound of the "clunk" as it moves back into place is always nice to hear. Last season it happened to our best receiver. 8

Rare A&L_Ont Posted March 10, 2022 #51073 Share Posted March 10, 2022 So, here in Canada our large nation wide grocery store chain is having a pricing issue with Frito Lays for the last couple weeks. Anything left over is from old deliveries. Just an idea of what the chip isle looks like today. They have off brand but that’s it. Our neighbour asked if they could tap some of our maple trees. As a Canadian I obviously had to say yes. I hope to get some of the spoils.
