Yes, he feels better.  Swelling of his tooth has finally started to go down so that's good.

I hope your eye is better too!   Did they know what caused the problem?

Oh, that's good, Debbie!  I'm glad Eric is feeling better😊

We binge watched the entire series over the winter, so we had already watched the first half of the final series and were awaiting the final half.

It was good, but it got to the point where there wasn’t much they could add to keep the series going.  I guess you will just need to watch.

I have been watching the series The Americans on Prime.  I don’t recall anyone mentioning it on here, but maybe because it is an older series.  I have about three and a half seasons to go on it.

We’ll be wrapping up Ozark the next couple of nights.  Agree with your assessment about how much more can they do.  We tried The Americans but couldn’t get into it. Is it one of those shows you have to give some time?
Next up for us is Big Love on HBO. It’s also a few years old.

Thanks for checking in. You were my inspiration in trying to get those shots. I think they can really make a photograph. I'll leave the urinals to you knowing my luck someone would walk in on me as I was taking the picture and call me a weirdo. Great mooring pictures. You are a winner in my book.

You could always blame it on researching Marcel Duchamp’s painting Fountain .

Harrahs casino.  I play the Flames of Olympus penny machine,  it is hooked up to a random bonus plus the normal bonuses.

We used to go to Harrah’s a lot in AC.I never won on that game in any casino. When the casino’s opened in Long Island,Yonkers and Queens we stopped going to AC  and the CT casinos .

Cheers!

Great minds think alike. I am grilling some steak later on today and thought of the same thing when I opened my fridge and saw my Goslings Ginger Beer. Cheers!

We have had heavy rain all morning, so that delayed our daily walk.  So with the rain, we just finished watching the final episode of Ozark.   Yes, it is streaming now.

That was an unexpected ending!   I know some here watch it, so no spoiler.😁

You do realize that there could have been more than one conclusion to Ozark ,correct ?

Felix Solis who played Navarro was primarily a stage actor in Manhattan for many years .I had the opportunity to see him in several productions.

Richard Thomas and Julia Garner from Ozark were also on The Americans .

My Irises also keep expanding.  Love it!!!

What the heck...it's free.  You can go out of NY.😊   The last time we sailed was on the Breakaway several years ago.  Not my favorite ship.  Anyway, Jim and I went on it with two of my sisters and their husbands, and my youngest brother.  It was a free (casino) cruise for my brother and one of my sisters and her husband.

I'm looking forward to watching this last season on Ozark, but right now we're in the middle of "The Offer", and Yellowstone.  I think I must be the last of everyone on our Dani thread to have finally begun to watch it.  We don't have cable, so it's nice to now be able to watch it on Peacock.  We had watched 1883 a while ago.  We loved 1883, and are enjoying watching Yellowstone.  The Offer is pretty good, also, but I really like Yellowstone.  Intense at times!!!!!

The Breakaway was my least favorite ship and cruise out of all our trips.  I did not enjoy it and my casino drinks were free!!!!

The Americans was great series.  I watched it when it originally aired on FX.  It’s been a few years since it ended, I might have to binge watch the series again to see what I think of it now considering the world we live in now.

Well, if you watched the series, you know there were gratuitous sex scenes in just about every episode (at least for the first two seasons).  So many nights, I will play it on my iPad and watch it while in the hot tub.

I do recall @Luckynana((Maryann) warning me about sound carrying, when I was talking about getting my gazebo erected over my hot tub.  One night, I had the show on, and the volume turned up to hear over the jets running, and one of those scenes with all the sound effects came on.  That is when Susan came out and asked “what are you watching?”, because she (with her bat like hearing), could hear it upstairs, in the house, with the windows closed.   Now I have to remember to turn it down during certain scenes.

Speaking of the gazebo, my “some assembly required” boxes took me a couple days last weekend to assemble.

I really like the hot tub under cover, because it gives us more time to use it.  We don’t have to rush to get out of the rain if that starts.   This is the finished project, but I plan to add some LED light strips inside.

No I didn't try that. I was pretty happy with the way most of the pictures were coming out so I didn't play around too much with settings.  Maybe I'll wish I did when I view the pics on a large screen but they were looking good on my phone.

That is the first time I remember trying 108mp setting.  You will enjoy the pics you took on a big screen. I really don’t see an advantage using the 108mp.  I know some would say pointing maybe.

Friends of ours have also been on the Breakaway and also felt the same way.  I feel it was a weird set-up.  I also hated that the entire casino floor stunk so badly of cigarette smoke.  I would go up a deck just to avoid the smokiness.😫

Yes, year round.  It is designed for a heavy snow load, so that was a good selling point.

I may have some ideas to make some removable sunroom type panels for winter use.  I made some of those for my parents porch, and they loved it being enclosed in the winter.

@A&L_Ont.  Happy Birthday to Owen.   Looks like a great day for everyone.   That was really nice of Owen to pass out balls to the kids.  Quite the young man you have there🤩

Do I dare ask his age?😁

Nice menu options too!

He turns 15 on May 5th. A few more days to go.

Lots of great people share that birthday.  My twin daughters, my niece, my cousin-in-law, my old roommate, and my SIL's BIL.😉

So yesterday my daughter Christina and her husband Brandon were supposed to spend the day at his parents house celebrating his nephews first birthday. Well they were worried about us and did not know if we could handle 8 paws for 4 days while they went to a conference in Kansas.
So they surprised us arriving last night.
They wanted to make sure we would not be upset dog sitting so close to our loss of Carrie.  I said no it’s just what we need to keep our minds busy. And if it did bother us Brandon s parents would watch them.

So here are Christina and Brandon at Jed’s first birthday. E5D15F35-695E-489C-8A1C-26F215D9452C.thumb.jpeg.ebcae6d00a2ac6dc4da177d1a35c7953.jpeg

Then Christina goes we would never surprise you with a kitten. But if you need help rescuing one I’ll help.  But we wanted to get you something to take your mind away from Carrie. So we got you a small gift. D84A16BE-1D6F-468E-8762-4B394CB6540C.thumb.jpeg.e47bf7818bef8b6915529e9bd31a7d3d.jpeg

God truly works in mysterious ways. She just found out she is pregnant and due in December.

Happy tears in Ohio

What a sweet way to announce it. I hope you picked up on it quicker than I did…4 different times!

How wonderful! Congratulations to Christina and Brandon. Many people on this thread said grandchildren are great- they were so right!

Today we were taking up grass to replant some roses on the side of the house. They were back garden, but we are redoing that garden. There will be nothing poisonous or thorny, so kids and animals can be safe.

Was it this thread where we were talking about Alaska shore excursions?

I found these photos from when we were in Ketchikan last. Here’s the Aleutian Ballad, which does the crab excursion, sailing past our cabin.
