We have never been to a hockey game with so much enthusiasm and excitement.  Vegas definitely knows how to host a game, on top of playing it. 
 

 

 

Nice! And it's great to see so much enthusiasm.  When it was first announced that Vegas was getting a team & the arena was going to be on the strip next to the Monte Carlo casino, I thought it's was a mistake. Tourist won't want to spend time going to a game & locals aren't going to want to go to The Strip. 

 

Clearly,  I have no idea what I'm talking about. 😃

Great music was everywhere on the Odyssey.  On the pool deck in daytime, at various nightclubs throughout the evening.  So different from our previous cruises.  So much fun, even for a pretty old man and his beautiful wife, and her female friends who traveled with us.

Regarding 1st 2 pictures:  Andrew, no offense to Gordon Ramsay but the mains coming out of your kitchen back home, look more appealing especially your grilled rib eyes.  However, the 3rd one looks delicious.

This lettuce has only been in the garden for 2 weeks.   I started it inside several weeks ago.  This is the first time I started them inside.  After this I believe I will grow them inside when the season is over.

Went to (another) Kenny Chesney concert last night. Mohegan Sun, Connecticut. Kelsea Ballerini was the opening act.  Whole thing was really fun, as usual.

We are at Lottie's tonight.  The rest of the family will come tomorrow for the birthday party!  I always love it when we all get together.

No fair, Andrew @A&L_Ont -- I'm sitting here at work tonight with Mom's leftover cube steak to nuke for dinner at 1am, and you're posting those amazing food pics!!!

(For those who are confused, "Mom" is a friend going back almost 20 years now that we've "adopted each other" -- I call them Mom and Dad, and I'm their patient advocate when they go to the hospital, and I'm the executor of their estate, etc.)  

I act as Mom's "human garbage disposal" -- if she has leftovers on a night I'm going to be working in her town, she packs me a lunch and messages me to stop and pick it up on my way to work.  The next morning, I leave the bag of Tupperware containers on their back door as I'm going home.  She's used to cooking big meals, and now that they're older with health problems, she and Dad just don't eat as much as they used to.  Instead of learning how to cook smaller batches, she just uses me to get rid of the extras!

Mom must've apologized half a dozen times for the cube steak, "it didn't come out quite right, I didn't get the seasoning right", and I kept telling her that it's undoubtedly a heck of a lot better than whatever freezer meal I was gonna grab instead!  But I guarantee that what Andrew posted blew Mom's food out of the water!

I just can't believe how friggin' adorable your grandkids are... good thing they take after Sharon!  🤣

 

Tomorrow I'm going to my new Aunt Linda's house for their Easter dinner celebration before I go to work tomorrow night.  I told them I might have to make them all wear nametags -- there should be about fifteen people there all together.  This whole "big family" thing is going to take some getting used to!

This is Owen’s early birthday “party” so to speak. When they heard it was his birthday they disappeared and minutes later had the card. We highly suspect they have a bunch signed in advance with no names on them. 
 

He still loved it though.

Sharon bought this bouquet to give to our neighbors from Kenzie's mom.  Caden volunteered to deliver them.  He knocked and stood at the door for several minutes.  No one home.  So another neighbor gets to enjoy them this time.
