I spent 3 weeks in Maui in college in a tropical marine biology class. We went all over the island on field trips and a few of us into town just about every night. And we have also been back twice on cruises, so I am guessing they still use the same place. Kimo's in Lahaina is a favorite restaurant. 

 

The college group I was traveling with were Seventh Day Adventists from Seattle Pacific University. Although "wiki" said they were Free Methodists. (Think "Footloose, anyway) The instructors introduced me as the black sheep from California. 🙄 But I did find a couple of guy students who accompanied me on our visits to Lahaina and other jaunts. The drinking age was 18 at the time.  I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. 😊

How much is a case of water for your sailing?   Maybe buy that and use your diamond vouchers for soda and alcohol?

I’ve been reading a live review on the Celebrity board…the OP went to a place in Bermuda, Woody’s, and had what he said was the best world class fish sandwich.  I thought, that sounds good…then saw his posted picture.  🤮  Fried fish on raisin bread!!!!  I don’t share some of you guys’ intense raisin aversion…but that was the most awful thing I’ve ever seen.  I really feel I want to go brush my teeth…

If you look at their posting history they frequent the RC boards so this many year long thread should be no surprise.  
 

I don’t know if they are trying to be funny, they don’t get the gist of this thread, or if they have a bad resurgence in their community - to which none of us have where we live.
