Royal Caribbean Cruisers -- How Are Things Where You Are? (was "Routine" 😁 day in lockdown... how was yours?)

I think for the Pie Crust recipe, going to go with the one with Vodka in it, never a bad thing to have some extra Vodka in the house right? 🙂

Made my Mother's Apple Cake yesterday.

Here are pictures of the 1st... 4 apples I picked off the tree and the Cake still in the Pan.

Now she has moved to the Sun Deck , starting her tanning regiment. Top Deck will be later this Morning.

So today is the big day!  Leaving tonight for a 12night trip to France and Spain.  Not a cruise but a land trip with SIL and BIL.  Staying in Paris 2 nights, then outside of Narbonne, France with a final 4 nights in Barcelona.  Packed carry-on only and very proud of myself, as this is not an easy task for me 😆.  Thank goodness we leave tonight instead of last night.  We had crazy storms roll through Michigan with over 200k customers in the Detroit area without power.  Ours never went out but we have a whole house generator so no worry for us.  Anyway, I will try and stay as caught up as one possibly can!

I should have known better than to read this thread today.

Tomorrow I'm having my routine, every 5 year colonoscopy screening which means I've been on a Low Residue diet for three days with today being a no food, clear liquids only and no alcohol day. So I come to this thread to see all the food porn, new recipes and drink ideas.  Why am I torturing myself?

On a positive now, I probably dropped 5 pounds.  Belt is definitely 1 notch tighter. Now to keep it off!

I hope you get good results from your Colonoscopy.I last had one in 2011 but I think I may be having one this year.I have an appointment with my GI doctor next week.

No, I haven't heard.  What happened?  Where are they?

This ship is full enough I cannot imagine fitting anymore people on Oasis.

Med evac screwed up their ability to get to Labadee so apparently they floated around a bit while trying to set a new itinerary. Now going to Coco Cay on Wed and Friday as I understand it.
